@infinitepossibility To be fair, that's been part of a steady 90's trend. I mean, look at the late 80's, and everything was poorly mixed. Until Atheist released "Piece of Time", which was really well mixed. Then Death released "Human", Cynic did "Focus", and then Death did "Symbolic", and those albums RAMPED up the production quality. Then this album did, and then "Sound of Perseverance" did, and then "Blackwater Park", and then "Alien", and it just kept getting better.

This song is insanely intense! this youtube video of the clip truly doesn't do it justice at all. This song is fucking amazing and mind blowing.I love the sound of SYL's drum sounds. Fucking amazing. I love this band (especially this song) for the following reasons:

1. In terms of vocal range..Devy is right up there with the likes of Mike Patton.

2. Hoglan is a fucking beast! His drumming is damn tight.

3. The guitar riffs are raw and heavy, and the song editing is insane.

4. Finally, listening to SYL baked is the most mind blowing band to listen to along with Meshuggah.

Flo is talented theres no 2 ways about it, but he lost my respect for happily letting cryptopsy turn into a shit trend following deathcore band. He did pretty much mindlessly blast through the cover of OMFG, they even had to cut the original intro for their cover.....somewhat ripping off Gene Hoglan & the sampling and just throwing the definition of the word "cover song" out the window. Cryptopsy used to be great death metal but its long gone now.
