I remember watching this on TV one night. We were sitting around talking and drinking beer to be honest and just kind of had it on in the back ground and while I don't remember the details of the movie, it was somewhat captivating and then all together shocking when the kid died. Haven't seen it since. Would like to someday. Some of us grew up liking old movies and out of school worked 2nd shift - it was the late movie on WGN I suppose. Doesn't sound like much of a party! - the way it was.
I can barely hear that opening music and tears start to well up in my eyes!! A beautiful movie in every way!! Cary Grant and Irene Dunne.....Perfect!!
Originally released in April 1941. Beautiful score by W. Franke Harling (conducted by Morris Stoloff); Cary earned an Oscar nomination for his role...
