I had a '91 SHO with the Yamaha V6 and the Mazda 5speed Transmission wow that car was fantastic. I only bought American cars for years. Once I sat down in a BMW 540i and hit the throttle it was all over for me. German cars ever since but I am willing to come back if Ford can make a car with the same build quality and performance as the Germans. So get to it FORD.

It's too techy with 2 turbos and AWD for buyers who want a Taurus. It should have remained traditional in being V8 and should have been RWD offered only with a 6 speed gearbox.

Price that kind of car a tick above 30 grand loaded. Make the only option a leather interior delete ($1000 credit) for people who prefer cloth seats.

lolz well i bought a 2003 tahoe fully loaded for 5k so thats not anywhere near ten years you can pick up a 1998 suburban/tahoe for around 3k very clean one that is and that doesn't have anything to do with gas prices its just normal. I mean heck i picked up a 1998 Mercedes 240C for $1,500 about a year ago and that was a great little car sold it for $2,500 but still it was 30k new.

Im not sure that this will save ford but your right it does just as good mpg as any car in its power bracket its priced competivally and for the first time ever its a tarus that actually looks good. obviously ford v6s are good look at any mustang v6 they never really go out. Anyways what will save ford is that unlike G.M. and Dodge they were well rounded before the gas went up even if people didn't want to trust their small cars again the quality was there.
