  • Great song !!!

  • OKI!!! My first song from Japanesse and great!! just like rock

  • I love this song,Ayumi is the best <3

  • 3 years ago, i was completely obsessed with ayu, i was really young back then and i was going through a hard time, now i don't listen to that much ayu but now occaisionally watching some of her old videos, it hit me, no wonder why ayu is so so so famous. it's because her songs move people, they are so deep they touch you. no wonder ayu's music inspired me so much and took me through the hardships i had to go through. forever a legend.

  • As far as I know, this song was written for her grandmother who passed away right before her debut. Ayumi has always regret that she couldn't spend the last moment with her when she passed away as Ayumi was busy recording her first single at the studio. When Ayumi came over to the hospital, she was already gone... Ayumi was really close to her since her grandmom raised her up cuz Ayumi's mom was too busy for working. So I think this song was dedicateed to her grandmother.

  • @ayapinkbug I thought it was for her father, since she never really knew him. but your's sounds more reasonable.

  • She actually made me cry :O

  • when I watched this live,I cried...

  • supper preformence love her songs

  • oahh,, this made me cry T_T

  • She looks older than she does in the images..?

  • i cry with her T.T

  • well this song is actually about her father, because what i heard from someone's comment it says that during 2003 ayu finally had some news about her father but it turns out to be that her father died, so she made this song, 'teddy bear" is also about her father if you look carefully in the lyrics but really like this song really emotional~

  • one of the songs of ayu I cried when discovered it with subtitles. Since this moment, I can cry when hearing those songs on a cd, without even remember the lyrics.

  • Reminds me of the day my dad died. I just kept lookin' this live and cried

  • what is name of this concert?

  • @RedAndWhiteAngels Arena Tour 2003-2004

  • ka-kui的追悼song?

  • the subs makes it more understandable, i cried..

  • she is amazing

  • sad, sad, sad...

  • This song talks about the day she was informed her father(who had abandoned her and her mother) had died. My favorite performance from her. LOVE U AYU.

  • omg i love the lyrics and her high notes *__*

the lyrics are really meaning and plus her wonderful voice =P

  • Such an emotional song TT^TT Ayu had put sooo much emotion in this song. GO GO, Ayu!!!

  • Great performance. One of my favorite. It's beautiful and full of emotions.

  • Whenever I see this performance, I feel like crying...

That's how powerful her music is.

  • A very touching performance!

She really sang from her heart!!!!

  • It's a really great performance!

  • nooooo the vid doesnt work past 3:10...8(

  • I can't count how many times I've seen this performance and I saw it years ago. It always blows me away and I always cry.:')

  • 手拍子はいらない

  • Probably my absolute favorite performance of Ayu's. I've watched this so many times and it still breaks my heart and leaves me on the verge of tears (if I'm not already crying).

From what I heard about this song is that it's about her father and how she never saw or heard from him during her life.

Oh, she kinda looks like Minny Mouse too. Really cute. :)

  • @mithrinwow If she never saw or heard from him during her life, then why she says in the song: "that you never regretted the days we spent together"?... Guess it's metaphorical...

  • @diegoysteffani She saw him, but he left her when he left her family when she was three years old, and never came into contact with her again. I probably should have been a little more specific about that.

  • @mithrinwow

yes the song is about her dad...

this is my personal favourite performance and song of hers

i can feel the love she puts in (all of her performance)

but there's something about this song that make *us* feel her lost

  • @meimeilai The song is actually about her Grandmother. Her Grandmother was her primary caretaker, and Ayu thought of her as her "Mother" (her actual mom was always working and not around much).

Her dad left when she was 3, and never saw him again. She has said she doesn't really remember his face even.

I really love this song, and it makes me want to cry right along side Ayu when I see her cry...

  • @DevilHunter04

sorry mate, definately her father, teddy bear was written for her mother regarding her being away alot, as for memorial address, if you look at the album, on the lyrics page for memorial addres theres 0630 written on the mirror hinting the last day she saw her father

if you read the lyrics carefully it says

*Sayonara --- You have gone to the place where we can never meet again

I can't accept the coldness of the eternal parting

I wish I could have heard from you

  • i wish i could have heard from you... her granmother was around her alot so this doesn't make sense

  • @meimeilai her grandma died

  • @ImUrFanGirl who was written for her granma

  • @DevilHunter04 Actually the song is about her father....

  • @mithrinwow the lyrics of this song doesnt sound like it's about her dad it sounds more like someone in her life died . her dad left her

she says u became a star = being in heaven

and the phone ring part sounds like someone is breaking the news to her

  • @mithrinwow I thought it was about a friend of her who died. Her father is still alive I think, and she tells "you are gone to a place that we can never meet again" means the person she talks about is dead. And she says "I love you", I think she wouldn't say this to her father she doesn't really know. In my opinion, she is talking about a close friend, a girl she met. I cry myself too when seing or hearing this song

  • @slihfshf The Song is about her father. Another song Untitled For Her, is about her friend that passed away...

  • @Roisia So she would have made at least 3 songs about her father (Song for XX, Teddy Bear and this one) ? and only one about her best friend DEAD ? Why do you think such a thing ? she could have made at least two song for her DEAD friend and two for her LIVING BADASS father, so i don't think you are right.

  • @slihfshf A Song for XX is about her mother. She never had real memories of her father, so how can the song be about him? She had a bad relationship with her mother and that song fits it to a t. Teddy Bear is about her father though, which is why she sang it before this one I think. Untitled For Her IS about her friend that past away during Guilty (which is why it's in the albums notes and the song deals with an "uneasy" death, Read the translation) Her Father is dead, he died a while ago.

  • @slihfshf BTW opinions can't be wrong, but facts are facts. Her father past away and she didn't even remember what he looked like. Her mother and her never got along until she became famous. And Guilty, especially Untitled For Her is dedicated to her female friend that died. I'm pretty sure that it's right since it's been discussed like crazy on AHSforum lol.

  • @Roisia The fact that she doesn't remember what he looks like does not mean this is not for him. In this song she says wished to atleast know that he loved her. I have the same relationship with my father that she has with hers, but every girl wants to hear their father say I love you, even if its a lie and deep down she probably held some hope even if was very small that she would meet him and he would feel remorse for leaving

  • @sesshoumarugirl4 You replied to the wrong person. Reply to THEM and not me.

  • @Roisia then it was my mistake however there is no need to be so rude.

  • @slihfshf The fact that she doesn't remember what he looks like does not mean this is not for him. In this song she says wished to atleast know that he loved her. I have the same relationship with my father that she has with hers, but every girl wants to hear their father say I love you, even if its a lie and deep down she probably held some hope even if was very small that she would meet him and he would feel remorse for leaving

She looks really cool too. ^^

  • I know!!!! Same here! ;_; I ALMOST cried...and I'm a 16 yr old guy (straight)

  • You don't have to be gay or straight to cry if something tugs at your heart-string.

  • I can't watch this performance without crying with her. T~T

  • i love this song.

she sang this beautifully, thank you ^^
