Based on rough calculation, it was about 48 seconds from the time the first net was opened to the time the first balloon hit the camera. That's a long trip down from the rafters.

As much as I love balloons it looked kinda scary seeing a huge mound of 50 grand fall from a really high ceiling--this is when they first began to fall at 30 seconds. But once they got down to everybody it looked fun! I have never been in a balloon drop of that many before.
