In my town, a gorilla managed to crack the glass once; it wasn't dangerous because it was double glazed, but the people suddenly stopped laughing and ran pretty damn fast! And the lady at the zoo said that average gorillas manage to crack their glass about once a year, at least if they are stressed by their visitors. People don't always know that gorillas feel very threatened when you look them in the eye; and they generally freak out when being stared at. Not ideal for the zoo, poor things :-(.
