You could tell the shots of blood where going onto the actors instead of coming from the actors I recommend putting your pipe behind the actor and have the matter spray onto a wall behind them. Just plug the top of the pipe and cut a split in the side like a coin jar. Not to bad though. Watch behind the scenes of dawn of the dead. The remake. Goods learning stuff in there.
