  • Jiggity, it looks brand new still, and it has been on the roof outside 24/7 since installed the spring of 2008.

It is on a new lower profile rack now though from bajarack dot com.

I wax it with Meguiars Marine wax once a year to put on UV protection, and the fiberglass is holding up very well for being exposed to the outdoors all the time.

  • Beast, sorry just saw this.

I started looking at the regular style of tents, then a friend got the AirLander on his FJ Cruiser, and I liked it better since it is a hardshell and aerodynamic than the regular style of tents.

  • Is your tent still holding up?

  • not sure why I hadnt run across your vids sooner, caught you on expedition portal, great truck. Did you try other roof tents, and why this one?

  • try a good battery drill its way easyer.

  • @monkey01302 damn i was thinking the same thing! does that mean we're lazy?

  • @TheXJthatCould no not lazy. i just dont see the pint of doing boring things the hard way. and for what they charge for one of these tents it should come with a motor.

  • @monkey01302 as much as these tents go for they should have an electric motor on them

  • wow !!! i wish my trd have Maggiolina !!!!
