Shining know how to inspire such powerful fucking emotions. You can feel the atmosphere. And unlike so many Black Metal bands...they can play their instruments too!

The singer os shining is gay? and....are they christians???? because i saw in a concert that the singer was kissing to maniac of mayhem.... i'm worried, because that band is awesome but i'm dissapointed for those things

@Metaldude 1945 I think its because black metal is supposed to be shocking. The whole inverted cross and animal carcass shit doesn't cut it anymore so bands like Shining are being shocking in other ways i.e by kissing on stage.

Being a Christian does not mean you can't be gay. Think about it, if committing that particular sin means you cannot be a follow of Christ then surely lying and coveting means you can't be a Christian as well.
One of the main things about Christianity is that it recognises all people fall short of the glory of God (this falling short is called sin) but we can still follow Jesus because His blood washes away our sin.
I hope that clears up your theology...

fran - von (more similar to english - from)

Yes they are very similar, because the swedish borrowed alot of words from german in the middle ages (I think)

For thy older bands, well, alot of artist the music is about, death, destruction and chaos, pain, suffering. Well, the genre is important for many. Not everybody, but many. For the newer bands it's about the music, not the signal that this kind of music sends out to the people who dig this music. The genre is very important for the few people who dosen't cares about, how fast the drums are, how deep and destructiv the vocals are. That is why, the genre is important
