There's also a way to mod it using a C4016 chip to auto-select the cartridge (if present) or built in roms (if no cart present) so you needn't worry about a switch. I'd like to see one with LEDs for the power & difficulty switches.

Too bad it did not just come with a cartridge port in the first place!...Like they promised!...O well...The Atari Flashback 3 is suspose to have a cartridge port, but that's what they said with the last 2.
Why would the Flashback 3 have a cartridge port? Most average people in 2007 wouldn't know what to do with it. Besides, the Flashback 3 is going to be based on the 5200/8-bit computers, not the 2600.

the directions I have for modding it are for the older flashback 2 chip. I have the newer one and its confusing(rev C.) Can someone help?
