@tatulover01 you can read about more ways online. here's a way i'm trying. this method makes incense pellets, not sticks. i think pellets are older historically than sticks, but you'd have to look that up to make sure... so you get the scents you want... for example, i got juniper leaf clippings from my backyard and i also mixed in simple ground cloves... then dry and grind up the material.. and smoosh and knead a raisin in around in the scent.. use much more scent than raisin! repeat for more!

if you look it up online, you'll find further information! i wanted to also add that you need to burn non-combustible (the name for loose/pellet incense) a different way than the way that is used for combustible (stick) incense... google it for more information!
