  • This channel is great! I am subscribing!

  • this is what makes a legend ,,pure acapello

  • If only he had been given a loop pedal!

God, imagine him performing this song just like he did on the record! :D

  • never saw comedy acapello style, this was great!

  • would have loved to have seen him in his prime!

  • What is the first tenor's name? He rocks!

  • lol first i thought he said me and my wife had a baby ita an asian

  • Billy Joel is a legend. Just look at his full body of work. I like all kinds of music from classical to many in the 60s, Emerson Lake and Palmer hardcore prog, Queen, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Swing, Louie Armstrong and more. But I have no love of any music today that isn't from the 70s bands.

  • @BluStile3 you're missing out.

  • 3:19 for beginning of the song

  • Great video

  • Love this song

  • "This is for me. This is for the diapers. That's what this is for."

"Oh, wow man. Like, Woodstock. You know? Wow, we had a baby born. It's a nation."

"Alright, here with that." (Grabs crotch).

    L.O.L!

  • love it

  • nice. ;-)

  • Those must of been the times, im only 16 but i know what good music is! Billy joel is just a legend!!!! 60-90's best music to me.....

  • @SoCxXerXceS Sure, kid. Just ignore all the great music going on today. I'm sure in the 60s there were people saying that music sucked since the 30s.

  • @TheColdWeatherPilots dude that was my personal preference that's what i think 60-90's were the best, Sure i love bands and songs now but nothing compares to back then, so don''t get butt hurt...

  • I sang this song before I could talk!

    love it

  • I wish music was like this now a'days

  • god so hard to decide between Queen Don't Stop Me Now or The Longest Time

  • @pichu4721 both dimwit :P

  • God fucking damn, this man is hilarious.

  • I lived on Cooper Avenue in Glendale Queens We lived by a train tressell the stairway leading to the crossover had an echo and my older brother and his friends used to sing like Billy just did with his mates. I remember Jimmy singing with his mates just like that. I am Billy Joel.

  • Dear Mr Man

Please take the crap off the radio, and put stuff like this one NOW...and when I say crap I mean it in the fullest more purest form of the word. Like JUSTIN BEIBER, LIL WAYNE, DRAKE, KE$HA, LADY GAGA, LMFAO, ...I'm only 21 and I'm sick of the shit. Sorry for the foul language, but it just shows my emotion...

    Sincerely Annoyed Radio Listener

  • probably a stupid question, but the song they did before The Longest Time, "What's Your Name?" is that a real song or just something they did? I

  • @TexasMade20

sounds like 96 degrees in the shade by Third World

    anyway awesome song

  • @TexasMade20

doesnt sound but reminds me on

    sry :)

  • @TexasMade20 its an old doo wop song from the early 1960s. Not sure who had the hit with it, there were so many groups singing in this style then. Originated with groups harmonizing live on street corners , days when you made your own entertainment! Great isn't it, billy knows his stuff

  • does it count as a cappella if they have a bass and drum being played?

  • @marcwagz

Haha, maybe it just for timing.

  • what is this crap.. gimme more lil wayne, keshsa, drake and katy perry lol wat a joke the music industry is these days.. :^(

  • @triplerown

    I couldn't agree more.

  • One of the greatest and most memorable songs ever 5*+

  • 2 of those guys were in the music video

  • this is proof how vocal group harmony has continued to touch generation after generation!

  • god damnmnmnmnmn that acapella was good

  • How could 3 people dislike this video?!

  • @wheels0981 prolly pissed the drummer missed his kid being born

  • @wheels0981 seriously this was better than the original performance

  • @wheels0981 I suppose it's the drummer's kid, wife, and mother in law.

  • He's a pretty good comedian, too.

"Like at Woodstock. 'Oh, we had a baby born, it's amashing!""

  • billy joel in his primus!!!!

  • billy joel can really sing. i almost popped an eyeball trying to sing this song.

  • @gatoradeee this is the funniest thing i have ever read on youtube

  • ich will das original davon, ne studio aufnahme.. aber nix funktioniert hier..

  • Sounds a 1000 times better live. This is how it suppose to sound. A lot of people try to sing this song but it just doesn't sound right. I mean you really have to sing this song spot on for it to sound good. Brings back those memories from 84. Excellent post! Thank You!

  • billy joel is like friggin amazing

  • Not many years ago, I didn't know exactly who Billy Joel was. Until I heard a lot of his music and realised I knew almost every single song, he's written so many hits.

  • Song awsome top 5 all time

  • I'm 16 and this is some of the best music i've ever heard. <3

  • "I'm not a thousand miles away!!!!" 7:19-7:25 (Daddy's Home - Shep & The Limelites)

  • He looks like Shooter McGaven in that lighting.

  • Gibt mir immer noch Gänsehaut. Wunderschön. Ich habe ihn schon als junges Mädchen geliebt.

  • haven't been able to get it out af my head for 3 days. awesome

  • I know I already wrote a comment ... but: I cant BELIEVE how good this is! Been watchin it for 5 times in a row now!

  • i like it when he says 'the greatest miricle of all' too the drummer who's having a baby. Great!

  • I really like the "What's your name" and "Little Star" intro bit... a great segue into a great song.
