with the section at like 2:48, you have a really good opportunity to drop something huge. the dissonant harmony of the main section is nice, a bit weird, but works. i reckon you should balance it with a phat resolution back to the original harmonies for that second section. combine with drum development, rising synths, bulging bass and low pass filter for ultimate mind fuck.

good job though, nice take on the song.

Structure is way off, wheres the chorus, you had a nice build up, choppy at start but you should have rounded it into the chorus, i was waiting 4 minutes 17 seconds for it to kick in and then it ended. try again. (this is constructive not an attack, i would never harm another muse fan) :P

This is really not a bad effort. I don't think it would be improved by keeping the chorus, in fact for reasons I can't explain, I think I would have prefered shorter lyric bursts. I don't like a complete vocal track put over new drum & bass.

Not bad tbh, tho a bit of a squelchy overall sound. Perhaps work on clearing it up, try to foreground the vocals a bit, dip the mids in your synths, think about frequency ranges, and which are too crowded.

Also the loop at the start's a bit dodgy, are you sure it's in time?
