i wish i understood these children but i dont get why they think they are opposite sex. I think if i had a child that was transgender i would put them in therapy to see if it was a phase and to make sure they were old enough to know what they are doing what they really want and try to see all aspects of the problem. Since these people are hormonally imbalanced (which is what led to the confusion over identity in the first place) they were influenced by this disorder to take hormones that push them fully towards the chemically dysfunctional spectrum (antitherapy) instead of taking the hormones their bodies failed to produce to return their identity to the normal standard (therapy).

If the hormones they take can make them associate more with the opposite sex then it serves to reason that they can also take hormones that would allow them to associate with their natural sex. The irony is that since they never produced the hormones their bodies were intended to produce they don't know what it is like to associate with their correct, natural gender (which ultimately led to the decision to push themselves to the opposite gender without trying to correct the genetic abnormality.

Doctors should first try the therapy I mentioned before to see if that cures them before the extreme. But they are not aware that possibility because they are misled by the problem that put them in this situation initially). In other words, If given the proper hormones they would most likely snap out of this confusion that they do not even know exists! It is my opinion that the doctors are helping them exacerbate the disorder (like an oncologist telling his patient smoking more would cure them).

@BeethovenIsGod You do realize that not all TG people suffer with hormonal imbalances right? I know of a TG person who became male (born female) who didn't have any sign of hormonal abnormalities. And yet, they became the man they always were because that's who they identified as. Hormones have NOTHING to do with gender identity. Hormones only assist when transitioning into your preferred gender.
