hey i have a question. is it possible to make a map that looks like the singleplayer jungle map? heres what i want. i would like to make it US military vs the KPA with npcs and bases, and on top of that, have places with random skirmishes going with respawning npcs and such. i basicly want 1 huge battlefield/warzone going on in which i can freely participate and roam around. with respawning npcs so i dont get bored. also make it to where theres random squads that roam and engage each other

On a side note, Did you use AI:Execute to force the soldiers to stand and fight? Normally, I need to route them through AI:Ignore and trigger it hostile when they're in range.

DO you know how to get gauss soldiers to shoot, they just run away when i spawn them, also, how do you get regular KPA rocket soldiers to fire their rockets instead of rifles. PLEASE ANSWER, especially for gauss soldiers not shooting and just running away, is there a way to get them to shoot?

@MrCombineFaces you need to change their Behavior profile in the entity Properties. Snipers by definition want to seek decent distance between their target. If you change the snipers to a Camper or friendlyNPC profile, they will fight like normal soldiers. If its too hard, just take a regular grunt and swap his equipment pack for a US_Sniper pack.

It also helps to tweak their engagement distances. again, all in the Entity:properties

@NetherFeather If it doesnt appear in the games files you can download it on the crysis mod website. But sadly Crysis 2s Sandbox 3 will have to be pirated as Crytek has whored out so that sandbox 3 is for "Developers only" you literally have to have an official company email that is verified. truly they have whored out and better give us Sandbox 3 or everyone will just pirate the game instead of purchasing it. ironic how they're trying to stop pirating yet now they'ree actions encourage it LOL

@CruelDrFrankenstein I just got done checking xanthochori´s Tutorials, and I´m half done whith a map. What did you use to record your sketch? (or what ever I should call it) When I´m done whith my map, I could show you. =P

I can tell you 1 thing about my map. There´s 2 Islands, 1 NK and 1 US, and theres gona be a h**l of a fight!

I dont set them something special, i think they dont run away because they can shoot on enemies.

BUT it is possible to set an area where they are allowed to move (ich könnte dir n paar tutorials dazu schicken) But i dont remember how to do that.
