The music makes it all seem a bit menacing.

I've known what to think about the score for this film. As music, it does nothing for me, and it seems to just get in the way here, by calling attention to itself--in my opinion. On the positive side, at least it's not what you'd call cliche.

Well seems like a great film. Most of Altman stuff is not as "dreamlike" but that has its roots in the outline. Thanks for posting.
