Wow, neeto but why is your pump so noisy? Mine doesn't make that sound unless it's not fully submerged.

@DVFDrinkOrDie Thanks! Ah, I'm not really sure...it's just the type of pump. Every pump that I have heard has at least some noise. Most of the noise in this video (at least what I'm hearing), is just the sound of the water. The pump is completely submerged. Thanks for watching! :)

how do you keep your substrate from falling thru the egg crate? is there mesh below the substrate?

@kidemt2003 Yes, there is mesh between the egg crate and the substrate. I built another viv but I used stones as the reservoir instead of egg crate and I didn't use mesh at all, looks a ton better than this one haha...but it was my first viv build, so it's all good.

If use it for dart frogs instead, sorry red eyes are cool but they're really quite boring, all they do is stock on the class all day dart frogs are much more entertaining.

@ReptiCon725 Well, yeah haha..they are nocturnal! At night, I find them incredible to watch. They are one of my favorite frogs. Dart frogs are cool, but nah.

Thanks! Yeah, I did...like I mentioned, this wasn't completely finished when I did this video. I put in a long branch and some vines...plus the plants are getting a lot bigger! (especially the pothos...haha). Thanks for your comment! =)

Cool Viv man...Very clean and tidy design....Whats that plastic carton for??? Does it has the same effect as drainage rock to separate the water from the soil??

Thanks! Yeah, essentially it does the same thing...just acts as a reservoir for the water to drain. When I was reading up on vivs, I found that this is what most people do, so I went for it.
