By taking the Masonic oaths, the Mason is swearing to uphold Masonry and its teachings. Swearing to uphold Masonic oaths is sinful, unscriptural and should not be part of the Christian's life

They make a Christian man swear by God to doctrines which God has pronounced false and sinful. For example, Masonry teaches a universalist doctrine of "the Fatherhood of God" (John 8:42)

@gauleygirl2000 I am a Freemason, and while I do not agree that our oaths are sinful, I agree that they and our philosophies are incompatible with doctrinal Christianity: In the First Degree, we teach that all religions worship the same God, while doctrinal Christianity maintains that only Jesus is God. In the Second Degree, we teach that all good men go to Heaven, while Christianity maintains that only Christians go to Heaven, and through faith, not works, in Jesus alone. CONT.

And in all three Degrees, we teach that practicing Freemasonry can enable a man to reach spiritual, intellectual, and social enlightenment, while doctrinal Christianity teaches that enlightenment is only attainable through faith in Jesus.

The religions of Freemasonry and doctrinal Christianity are indeed incompatible. You either believe in one or the you believe in the other. Simple as that.

As a Mason, I would find it terribly offensive if a brother swore an oath to doctrinal Christianity and an oath to Masonry -- he'd either be a phony Christian or a phony Mason, in my opinion. Either way, he'd be no brother of the Craft to me.

As far as the shrine is concerned, again, no blood oath and swearing the pagan moon god Allah as the god of our fathers. Allah is mentioned in the short play that you watch that takes place before your initiation, but is only that, a play. It isn't even a serious play. The shrine is probably the least serious thing on this planet. But as I said, no one man speaks for all freemasonry. Did Calvin speak for all Christianity, or does one single jew speak for all jews, or one boy scout speak for all?

If his title were dog-sniffer or el presidente, I would call him that. The title means nothing, he's just the guy that leads the lodge. You don't have to be a york rite or scottish rite to be a shriner, either. Further, the ritual dialogue is taken out of context and the "blood oaths" are understood in the master's degree. If any mason actually "repented" after listening to this guy babble on about himself and how awesome he is, then I seriously doubt they were masons. I am a Christian, and I love Jesus with all of my heart. I have a great prayer life and I love my Bible. I am very active in my church, and I am a Shriner.

I have never BOWED to any man and called him "master."The term 'master' could just as easily be 'president,' because that's all he is. This video is full of half-truths and whole lies. The first 7 minutes is nothing but this man bragging about himself and those he "led to repentance." I doubt those are even true, because every real mason would know how full of it this guy is. For example,he says "you have to be invited by another mason." Not true, our very slogan is "2 be 1 ask 1."No mason can solicit membership. The wash. monument and dollar bill are NOT masonic symbols. This man is another "liar for Jesus." I stopped watching

Being "in darkness" is not being spiritually lost, it is referring to being ignorant of freemasonry, NOT being hell bound. The rituals are just plays that you take part in to teach a different moral lesson. What you do not know about ME is that I was (and still am) a Christian minister long before I was a mason. I told myself that if anything was going to go against my Christ, then it is of the devil and I would have NO part in it. To this day, I have found nothing contrary to my King.
