XBOX 360 Elite price drop. Who will win the console war this year?

Xbox360 will continue to be ahead if and if you guys watched E3 the New Xbox 250 gigs of memory and it has a built in wireless device and its only $299 as well also the new Kinect device also Gears of war 3 Halo Reach and Call of duty Black ops are going to just be ridiculous. Yeah Ps3 has the new Move device but not that big of a deal

if I got more for trading on my old 360 I would consider it, but I only get 100 bucks so eff that.

the price is $300 for the elite. its $400 before the price drop. They took out the HDMI cable, which is about $50 or so.

THe 360 Elite will not have the HDMI cable,Component cable,and optical audio cable.Everything else that came with the $399 xbox 360 elite will come with this one.

God of War III and Heavy Rain are slated for 2010. GT5 might be pushed into 2010 as well. Halo 3: ODST, Forza Motorsport 3, Left 4 Dead 2. All great exclusives coming to the 360 in Fall 2009.

Still all three games haves huge fanbases attached to them and they will all sell very well and score very high. Each console is bringing out good content. 2010 is going to be the most action packed year we have seen in a long time though.

I own a Wii, and finally deciding to jump to the next-gen systems because of the $299 price drop. 360 doesn't seem to have RROD problems anymore, so my determining factor now is indeed the games.

Never owning the original Xbox, its established game library will be a new experience for me (Halo, etc). On the other hand, PS3 is finally getting decent games...but will it last?

Sigh...what to choose?

halo 1 sucked but had awesome multiplayer

halo 2 had awesome single player but unbalanced multiplayer

halo 3 is somewhere in the middle

but yeah, I prefer the 360 because of

1: xbox live

2: controller much better for aiming guns

3; more games

4: netflix, omg its so awesome

5: lot more Downloadable content than ps3

I disagree with your idea that Sony is going to start charging to use PSN the same way MS charges for XBOX LIVE. Sony's already let the cat out of the bag, so to speak, and to try and charge now for what they've been offering for free would cause all of their PSN users to go into an uproar.  If Sony was to charge, it would have to be for a seperate, premium type service, something that would be compelling enough to purchase a "membership"....something like unlimited PS1/PS2 game downloads.
