  • If Julie Andrews couldn't do this film, I could maybe see Natalie Wood as a decent replacement

  • @WillenhallBoy Also quite perfect, but would look mighty small next to Dick Van Dyke :p

  • Julie Andrews: practically perfect in every way!

  • If Dick Van Dyke had not been in this movie, Gene Kelly would have been perfect for this role.

  • Dick Van Dyke!!!

  • I love this movie when I was little, this old Disney movies like Mary Moppins and Oliver and Company are the reasons why I discovered my love for music!

  • I gonna watch it live this Christmas, when it's on tv.

    Methionylglutaminylarginyltyrosylglutamylarginyllysylglutamy... ect.

i definately dont have enough room to spell out the whole thing but either way, it is exavtly 1,909 letters, and is the term for the formula: C1289H2051N343O375S8, ATryptophan synthetase A protein, an enzyme that has 267 amino acids. it's on the last page(pg.524) of any "A Students Dictionary. Hey! you learn something new everyday, huh?

  • I thought the biggest word was Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis

  • supercalififi....hm :X

  • In the german version Dick van Dyck has a more sympathic voice.

  • @Eyyoh77 we hate germans ..

  • @Mijmerdemijmer Hey Dutroux, stay in prison and shut up!

  • Looks dated now, but the human/toon interaction was astonishing when released in 1964...

  • Mary sure likes to have a good time. Rock on Mary.

  • 0:31 to get str8 to the song and not the beginning interview.

  • Wow. Dick Van Dyke's accent in this film was, to quote this song, "atrocious."

  • @AllTimeJedLife He actually mentioned that on a Racheal Ray interview, he owned up to it.

  • OMG this song is soooooooo fun.

  • she had the most amazing voice...and was GREAT movie

  • She is okay!

  • xD She's so epic

  • This song was based on the music hall tunes of the 1900's.

  • @sz1015g When is this movie due to be released?

  • @dowling1981 It was released in the 1970s

  • @sz1015g Well it couldn't have been released back then as it were not marketed. Will you go to see it when it is?

  • @karenctran she can still sing just its not quite the same

  • siiiiiiigh :)

  • I tried to dance like that once and took out 3 tables 7 chairs and 2 lamps.

  • @JuanMacready back up your statement - give me 3 good reasons why it sucks

  • @brobinson75 1. It goes on for far too long

    2. Dick Van Dyke couldn't act or sing for shit and his accent was awful

    3. It's all filmed in the studio under very bright lighting

  • @JuanMacready come back to reality and realize a great classic when you see one.

  • @brobinson75 Great classic? Children today are bored with this adtyed overlong crapfest. So glad Walt Disney died of lung cancer, I really wish Dick Van Dyke had too.

  • everybody loves Mary Poppins! :)

  • she's so perfect she doesn't even get hat hair

  • Walt Disney got the idea for this song during a visit to India, where he had a brief encounter with Ghandi. Gandhi, as Walt noted, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet. He also ate very little, which made him rather frail and, with his odd diet, made him suffer from bad breath. Later in the trip someone asked Walt's impression of Ghandi. Walt asked, "You mean that super calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis?"

    The rest is history...

  • @DFDalton1962 how the heck do you know that extraordinary piece of information??

  • @DFDalton1962 I find that extremely hard to believe

  • @turuanu I would hope so. It's just a pun. I didn't even come up with it - it's been floating around the web for years. I just adapted it for the purpose of this video. You know, to give a few people a good chuckle and lighten their day? Because I'm like that. I just want to help people.

  • I never liked Micheal.

I remember in this scene I always thought he was a little pig...shoving his face with food.

LOL, wow. I haven't seen this movie in YEARS. It's such a good movie!

  • brill

  • wow back in the days nice song i like it i wish time would never stop or change sighs

  • Mixing real life with cartoon is BAD ASS!!!

  • i had to copy and paste the title cuz i couldnt type it myself :P

  • I'd forgotten how much I love this movie!

  • 62 people disliked this video because they couldn't pronounce Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

  • @AznPwn9449 I guess, that those 62 people dislike this video not because of not being able to pronounce it... but because of not being able to feel Supercalifragilisticexpialidoucious :)

  • @AznPwn9449 I cant say it backwards. Wonder if the people who dont like it can.

  • @AznPwn9449

    i love her too

  • @AznPwn9449 although im having trouble pronouncing the reverse XD all the more reason to like julie andrews XD haha

  • LOL!!!! that is amazing

  • you never get tierd of it

  • how do u write that fuckin word -_-

  • @eransho6 this is how you spell it Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

  • Walt Disneys crowning acheivement. He said so himslef, and I agree. A genuine work of art. Thank you everyone, involved.

  • Just an overlong and boring old film with a terribly miscast Van Dyke.

  • @JuanMacready Wrong again and again and again and again. There's something terribly wrong with you. PLEASE SEEK HELP! You're a MESS! The film is a classic as is DVD. GET A LIFE!

  • Its, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

  • It's a shame that Disney doesn't make movies like this one anymore. This is one of their best classics.

  • omg i haven't seen this in ages!

  • I would bang that bitch

  • Mi peli preferida de la infancia...para vos yan jeejejejejej

  • This might of been said but who would dislike disney movies from this era...i don't care for the new ones unless it's a good Pixar film

  • poo poo

  • Supacalafragalistikexpialadosious! Julie Andrews rules!

  • Just an overlong, dated, badly acted, horribly studio-bound crapfest. Van Dyke was BADLY miscast and couldn't sing for shit.

  • Part of our childhood !

    Thank you !

  • splendid ! but I adore Audrey Hepburn too :)

  • Yes, London. You know, fish, chips, cup o' tea, bad food, worse weather, Mary fucking Poppins … London!
