  • Im going between this brand or Zaggs invisishield. Suposedly invisishields dont hurt sensitivity. I never saw your follow up video to this. How did it hold up? Do you notice any impact on the touch screen sensitivity? Does it effect the way it looks? Id rather get this over the invisishield because of the price difference if this works just as good. Note: im only using it on the screens, not the whole DS. Gota 4 year old that i dont want to mess it up when she plays

  • haha i thought it was a dsi xl with a cool color in the begining

  • how much r protective skiins??

  • with that case on it looks like the original DS lite

  • spray? what spray!? i dont have spray! =[

  • where do u get this

  • Bo u prefer matte or glossy finish

  • the Zagg Skin Suck's it "protect's" everything

And installation isn't to bad easier than the iPod touch's back for sure

But screen protector for bottom was to small for being dsi only and arrived messed up with hard to describe... like the dust size rise's

And he is right they are a pain

  • i like the matte skin but its a protective shield so ill buy it lol

  • is it removable and reappliable

  • It's not re-appliable once it has been removed unfortunately.

  • can u still put other cases on top

  • Yes you can. It's really thin so there shouldn't be an issue with using other cases in combination with it.

  • awsome thanks

  • it looks awsome, when it's shiny XD

  • I like the look as well :)

    Thanks for the comment!

  • Your welcome^.^

  • when you put it on the screen did it look all wet? cuz i would figure you would have to skweegee the screen and the liquid will go in the dsi wouldnt it? will it just stick to the screen or do u have to use the liquid.. and by the way is it scratch proof from the stylus wearing down and getting that gritty feeling you know.. someone answer my question please/ thanks

  • You do have to spray the liquid solution on the screen protector to allow it to adhere to the screen. You also have to squeegee out the liquid, but it does not get into the DSi whatsoever. It's a really safe process that I know the creators of the product took the time to research in order to ensure that the system is not damaged through the application. I've had it on my DSi for months now and it has not worn down at all. It's the best screen protector I've used.

  • so it just makes it look like the red dsi. the glossy part

  • did you have to use the spray/water stuff for da screen two

also how does the touch screen work with the shield on and and does the best skins ever feel cheap and does it have the orange peel effect

  • You do have to use the spray on the screen. The touch screen works great with the skin on it, in fact the skin has been on mine since I installed it. It feels really good and not cheap at all. It does have the orange peel texture and look to it.

Hope that answers your questions. Feel free to ask me anything else you have a question about.

  • thnx you answered al my questions

  • The Hori screen protector/filters are awesome and actually make the stylus glide better, smoother stylus use and no air bubble, easy install. I <3 the Hori screen protectors highly recommend, just make sure you don't buy a fake... and it's super easy :)

  • Hey it doesn't look like u have anything on there, but a shiny blue skin.

  • lol, you did such a good job applying this, i usually get annoyed by the littlest bubbles but I wouldnt be annoyed at all by that one.

  • Thanks friend! I think my problem is the fact that I am extremely anal... the application was a little easier than I thought it would be, but it was still a very painstaking process!

  • haha 1 bubble. thats not bad lol

  • Thanks!

  • u should make a vid on peeling off the skin

  • -i know the application requires alot of water, did you have any problems with the bottom parts since the sticker label is made of paper?

-how is the feel during gaming? my iphone feels kind of tacky with it.

    thanks

  • It does take a lot of the water/soap solution to get it on proper. I had no problem with the label.

To be honest it feels pretty good when gaming, but yeah it does have a tacky feel... as long as you don't mind that, the shield works well.

  • wait so u put a ticker on it? to make it look clean? and not scratchy? or did u change the entire cover like some people do i coundlt here

  • when areu gonna do the revievv

  • What's ruined? It came off without a problem, didn't cost me a dime, and I actually liked it. To each his own.

By the way it didn't take me an hour... this video is an hour after installation.

  • how do you take it off please reply

  • It just peels off

  • hey that was the best because my hands get relly sweaty when i play for 15 min and the matte finish then get darker and then i have to clean the whole dsi :P

  • how did you put the in dsi the thing the bestskinever they like in side the emvelope not in the box like zagg the bestskinever is there something come with it pls rep back pls thanks you

  • Inside the envelope it comes with all of the skins that you need to apply to the DSi. It does not come with the solution to apply it or a squeegee, but all you need to do is make a simple water soap mixture and spray it on the adhesive side of the skin. It applies just like the Zagg.

  • When u put this skin on ur DSi was it hard for u to do? How ong did it take for u to do?

  • Comment removed

  • its matted!

  • I was wondering if you spray the screen protectors with the soapy water before applying? Is it easy to remove the screen protectors, because I scratched the screen on my DSi taking off Hori branded protectors. :(

  • no, you just use a bit of sellotape to take it out. No soapy water, no nothing. just put some sellotape onto the screen and clean the adhesive part using the same method, then apply it back on if you want to.

  • What spray do you use?

  • It's just a part soap part water mixture... they give you the instructions on their website.

  • Great, thanks!

  • Nintendo's screen protectors are RLY RLY RLY annoying, all bubbly and crap,

  • That's for sure. I will never purchase a Nintendo screen protector again.

  • same here,

i got mine on, and it dosent work, but i cant get it off, my friend put his on, and the air bubble was such a punk, it kept clicking down in the same spot on the touch screne, LOL

    it was so annoying,

i cant get mine off, but its not that bad when its on the top screne, still bubbly tho,

  • That sucks for your friend, LOL.

I 100% agree with you... it was really hard trying to get the protector off.

  • use sellotape, it came with the instructions on mine,.

  • i also noticed that the skin has a ripply look to it when looked at angle. is it the same for the screen protectors, and is it noticeable during gameplay?

  • They call that an orange peel effect. It's not really like that with the screen protector and it definitely is not noticeable during gameplay... trust me I would have ripped it off by now if it got in the way.

  • how much spray did you use when applying the skin to the screens? im scared of water getting insde my dsi

  • I used a decent amount. Trust me I wouldn't worry about water getting inside of the screen... with the amount that I used there would have been a problem if it was possible for water to leak in.

  • no protection for the stylus?!!!!!! ...just kidding lol

  • Must..........Get!

  • It's a great product... definitely protects the DSi, or any other device that they make a skin for.

  • where do they sell these at???

  • Online only... follow the link in my description for where to buy.

  • it looks like the invisible shield for the ipod touch. nice review :)

  • It's the same concept, but I like this product a little bit more. You can check out my review for this companies shield for the iPod Touch 2g. Just check my videos if you're interested.

  • thatss like awesomeee.... i just got a dsi and i was lookin 4 a way 2 protect it... and i dont really like the matte finish..... sooo thats like awesome

  • Should I get this for my dsi! I want to protect it in every way possible.

  • Trust me - if you're looking for protection this is one of the most affordable investments that you can make. The product works wonderfully.

  • I have the black Dsi do you think it will make a difference in the look, besides the gloss... I am not a huge fan of the Matted finish.. Im jus worried about the look of it..... Smiles!

  • Besides the gloss... no it won't change the look. Just be prepared to be patient, because it takes a little effort to get it on properly.

  • and that makes it glossy so you have a lot of finger prints, =)

  • Surprisingly this doesn't leave fingerprints. The skin is much different from the finish that was on the DS Lite.

  • that kinda looks wierd and ugly. @(~.~)@

  • i gotta say u talk alot alot alot just say a quick thing n shut the hell up we dnt wana here ur crap

  • You know, I just checked and guess what you have no videos do you? Just for future reference you may want to keep your comments to yourself because nobody gives a damn about what you think.

So, when you grow the balls to make your own video feel free to do whatever you like. Otherwise take you comments, and grammatical errors elsewhere.

  • The skin is really useful, but the new Dsi has a coding that doesn't reflect your face and stuff, it kinda took away the coding and look like the Ds lite if you know what I mean.

  • Does this skin damage the camera of the DSi?

Because I want the glossy finish, but I don't want to damage the camera of the DSi.

Please reply, thanks. (PS Do you have alot bubbles? And does it look good on a black DSi?)

  • Not at all. There is actually a small cutout for the camera lense. There are not many bubbles at all, and as a matter of fact I was actually very surprised at how clean the look came out.

I would imagine that this would look great on a black DSi - if you order please go through the link in my description. Thanks.

  • Thanks for you answer.

So the skin doesnt cover the (camera)lense?

Thats nice. Then I think im going to order

a Black DSi with this glossy skin.

One question: How long took the shipping?

  • No it doesn't. Shipping took about a week.

  • i should of got it as soon as i got the dsi it has like a little tiny fade

  • Why would you want to make it "GLOSSY" like the DSLite it feels yuck and it slips when your hands get sweaty .... Lame.

  • It may not be your ideal protective measure, but that does not make it "Lame". Obviously you've never used a skin before, because even if your hands do get sweaty the skin has a nice grip and will by no means slip.

  • wait, can u get a set of these skins without screen protectors?would it cost less, because i know the screen protectors cost 6 bucks.

  • Unfortunately not, but for $11 you get the complete set and these are the best screep protectors that you can get.

  • for me......

cheap.........so cheap......... u just made it look like a ds lite... even though its a protection, it doesnt look good on it.. whats the matte finish for if you covered it up with a crappy plastic wrap or whatever u call it.... im sorry for others who really like this thing but i just dont like it...

  • does the skin get lots of fingerprints like the ds lite, because it looks like it has a similar high gloss finish.

  • It does get some fingerprints, but it is a different type of finish than the DS. Wait for my full review later this week.

  • edisito he sounds like he really really loves to protect his dsi cos he talking alot about it but keep in mind his doing a review.

  • Yeah I like a lot of protection, but it is for review purposes. I picked up the case on my own, and then BestSkinsEver sent this out to me for review.

  • i think you worry too much about scratching or dropping your dsi, you have that and the wallet. thats a little bit of overkill with protection

  • does it come of without any sticky residue ?

  • Yeah it definitely does. I removed the BestSkinsEver skin from my iPod Touch 2g, and there was no sticky residue.

  • i would tell you that that would rip fast

  • man thx, way cheaper than zagg invisible shield and its basically the same thing. imma get one for my itouch and samsung eternity.

  • If there was a way to get just the screens and the outer camera protectors, I would jump for it.

  • It's only $10.99 for the whole kit. What you could do it take a sharp razor blade and cut out the portion for the camera that you want.

If nothing else I would recommend that you at least pick up the screen protectors for $5.99 - that's cheaper than you'll find in a store.

  • the best thing it covers the camera

  • Yeah it's really nice, because the problem with the design of the DSi is that the camera is flush with the front. This shield really protects the device.

  • But doesnt the camera gets

a blurry look when you take a picture?

    Because you spray the skin..

And, do you really have to spray the skin

to apply it? Can you get it off later?

    Thanks. Good review.

  • oh well i don't think i will get these now because I like the feel of the matte finish....I think I will get a silicone skin

  • Yeah I know what you mean, but this is... so far a really good product.
