Thanks for posting this!!!! I am just reminiscing about my youth. The Mamas and the Papas will always be part of my life's soundtrack. I love this version, so sweet and romantic. I am preparing to get married again soon... yes at my age there is still romance!!! I think we will use this song.  They were all amazing talents on their own, but together they were incomparable! John may have had a lot of dark demons, but the man was a BRILLIANT arranger/writer. Thanks again for the song!

Bob Dylan said something like "message songs are for the editors of college newspapers" implying the naive. (there is someone out there who will prove me wrong by getting the quote right!) However, IMHO, today's performers have learned and moved on, for instance, in my mind, Tina Turner enabled Rhianna!

It's cool that you have that old video clip of John and Michelle. I think that it's shot in the doorway of their house.
