  • We cannot stop fighting against racism when in our own land we are called wetbacks or when we are asked to get visas in order to move in what belong to us in the first place. I am mexican but I have yaqui and apache and tlaxcalteca and I know all the indigenous people in the American Continent suffer racism from the now Portuguese brazilians or from the Spanish peruvians or bolivians or mexicans which are as white as british or irish "Americans" living in the United States. We are the same race.

  • For a chinese,this is a great movie....but sad........

  • A book that is the greatest story I have heard/seen/read of the natives of America and their fight against the 'civilized', "Crazy Horse The Strange Man Of The Oglalas". Filled my heart with pride that there is/was a man such as he. I am not even a native American. Nor am I white. Yet I am filled with pride. It should be made into a movie.

  • The White Man's Greed..something ill never understand

  • The government did this and they are still screwing with the people to this day. They cannot be trusted, they are working with the rich and greedy elite. No one wanted that land until gold was found. As long as we keep blaming each other based on race they keep getting away with stuff like this. They should be held accountable.

  • @donkeyfarmgirl Whenever I hear of this talk of the rich and greedy elite I see cowardice. Our politicians are not warlords, they do not have absolute control over the military. If you or any other people who say all the wealthy and powerful men are corrupt, then go do something about it. Complaining about it on Youtube does nothing.

  • @DestroyerOfSense000 Huh? Didn't you see the movie? They were murdered by the military and the government backed them. They wanted the gold.

Funny name you have, does that mean you attacked my comment just because it makes sense?? ;)

  • @donkeyfarmgirl I agree with the fact that the government was largely to blame for the Indian Wars. I was disagreeing with your statement about our government today. Our government is far from perfect but it is relatively just and it's far better than most others.

  • i love NAs and im white pagan we wheare hurt to by rome but where back some day im going back for good but so u now i love u ppl 4 ovear ps ..........pagan pride.

  • severely outnumbered against an enemy armed with better weapons finally changed tables. an idiot decision to attack right then and there indeed.

  • AT Least Custer was respected by the indians,

  • Hmm, I know what the government did was wrong and all, but some native Americans rode for days just to raid peaceful homesteads, so you can understand the retaliation of the white americans

  • @TyphoonMidget1 True story but who gave them those horses and guns?

  • @TyphoonMidget1 yeah well if you've looked at the history of the white people who first came to the Americas then you can understand that most native american tribes were hostile. Not all of them were hostile though.

  • @TyphoonMidget1 that was their own war, for sacred lands to survive, in the end they lived off the land, not destroy it or seek it's minerals and materials that make it sacred and then destroy it. They were interfering but still the natives made peace with the European settlers, the Vikings long before, until they were diseased, depopulated in the 1800's. There was no retaliation, only defending, and to this day the Black Hills are still Sioux, they refuse to give up the lands money can't buy.

  • Nice to see this. I can't find it anywhere. It would be great if you can put some english subtitles so people from all over the world can translate it in their own language.

  • Thanks for uploading. Due to this I know of the book and started reading it in the original language today.

  • @inotaishu1 ; The book is a sad story of many tribes being victim of European colonisation and breaking of treaties.

  • Custer was stupid because in reality he was supposed to wait for his superiors so he and his superior together could attack the tribes but Custer didn't want that and went in and his 266 men alone.

  • Remember this quote-He who has power, will eventually abuse it.

  • @98bigbutt Wouldn't that be rather: He who has fear, will eventually abuse power?

  • @Greenbat85,No it's he who has power because when a person gains power, they feel indestructible and thus starts abusing their power by attacking those who are less powerful than they.

  • @98bigbutt So, are you going to support any action for "destroying" all power, and when it is done who will preserve it? Who will "exercise his power" to prevent somebody to take power? It's a no sens ...

I guess solution would be everybody get power, rights and duties (and it's called democracy, sometimes socialism, anarchism or communism), but it seems to be not historicaly simple . I think individuals aren't ready for such sophisticated ideas yet but memory can permit them to evolve ...

  • I had a white American teacher once who said that Native Americans stink. Actually she was the one who stinks.

  • @gsomist,In reality white people were never the cleanest people in the world because they'd never showered in months because they believed that it was a sin to do so. The American Indians in reality were a lot cleaner than the whites because showered everyday.

  • texas rangers ftw... and the comanche

    round up dem redskins!!!

  • @libertyqueen ... yep...the 1st. written account of "scalping " comes from a Greek historian some 2,500 years ago.....used by a people called the "Scythians" in war times.... in what is known as Turkey today..... may even go back further.

All these so called american historians and anthropologist who claim it's linked natives before europeans arrived, can only draw from speculative theories. << ( their own) This Greek historian documented it !! ....wonder why they NEVER mention that ?

  • Hélène du Québec.

J'aimerai bien voir ce film au complet, ils devrai le passé a ( APTN ) a toute les semaine je surveille les film a APTN pour voir ci ons le passerais. Bury my heart at wounded Knee.

  • True owners of the land.

  • anybody else got to watch this for a class at school? =_=" or am i the only one?

  • Scalping originates with the Spanish as the only way the killers could prove they killed a Native American to collect their reward or bounty. Spaniard are one of the most genocidal races on this planet.

  • America is the true definition of bully

  • Today '' White people'' say why do we have to pay for what happen long time ago it wasn't me . it's Simple you are those people . Reincarnation exist everybody comes back without memories of their past life. This all prophecy our fall ,and our return to greatness , and punishment of the wicked

  • @RewardHerDouble Yes A big load of money. PahaSapas is not cheep.

  • We Gne Destroy Yu FUCKN White PPL Wen Dat Time Comes... Wat goes around comes around!

  • As a white man and a Christian myself, I have a strong feeling that those who did this to the Native American people will one day, if they have not already, have to answer to God for these crimes.

  • @Stardweller1 - How can they when those people are already long dead? Are you saying todays generation of innocent people should suffer for something that happend long before their existence? THINK ABOUT IT.

  • @HairMetalRuelz I'm not saying that at all - that would be unjust. I was referring specifically to those people who took the Native Americans' land and oppressed them and tried to eradicate them in the first place. In no way am I saying that anyone should have to suffer who did not, in and of themselves and of their own free will, cause so much suffering.

  • @Stardweller1 God killed more ppl than anyone. Read the bible lately??????

  • Comment removed

  • @albyjam We are talking about the same god here arent we????? The ALL-LOVING God????? 'plenty of warning'?????? are u serious????? just another troll waiting for nothing

  • im native and im proud

  • @1000100soldier Be it, becos the white have nothing to be proud of.

  • @pellenyberg I'm sorry, but I'm not responsible for what my ancestors did. You guys should stop dividing us... You're spinning in circles and that's not helping you.

And honestly, I admire a lot... your ancestors. Most indians nowadays are just like us : brutal and not very wise.

It's not because you have indian blood that you're automatically "a better human being".

It is your actions that determines it. Not the color of your skin or the language you're speaking.

  • @fl260 Thanks DAD.

  • @pellenyberg If you don't want to get wet, don't play with water, man.

  • @pellenyberg That is one of the most idiotic statements I've ever heard.

  • I WANT TO BURY MY (FART)AT WOUNDED KNEE!But I live to far away!

  • YUS i love this movie!

  • I discovered this movie because my ex-boyfriend was actually an extra in it. There are a few scenes in which he's visible.

Despite the fact that I hate him now, I still love this movie. One of my favourites.

  • GAD need to wake the hell up to thier true heritage as Israelite, and stop letting these pale face devils call you native americans and indians, and stop acting like uncle tomahawks for these crakkkers in thier portrayals of you, you are not the savages they were and still are.

  • Native Americans are beautiful people !!!!

  • Charles Eastman was not at the Little Bighorn and his father was not involved in the Sioux uprising of 1862. But they did show a pretty good illustration of the mutilation performed on the soldiers after the battle. Most of the soldiers in Custer's command who were found dead were so badly mutilated that their bodies could not be identified

  • You know what the sad thing is, I cant tell if your all wannabee white people. Or like everybody else who say's there native when there white as snow.

Do you know how hard it is to find a Native American.

You can never find them right of the street.

  • Quinn looks ALOT more like Grant then Texan Fred Thompson

  • Stop watching at the Little Big Horn scene... historically inaccurate.... sure the rest of it follows suit. Shame

  • yes!

  • is this the one with eddie spears>

  • 4:27 SCALP!!!!!!! For the win!

  • Yes and the American government are still trying to steal land or take over other countries. They are unable to stop themselves because they only care about themselves and money and ownership.

  • can somone explan to me why they scalped i know the french started it along time ago but why did they continue doing it? tropies?

  • @SlaughterSolutionPro Yeah for the most part. Or simple bloodlust.

  • @SlaughterSolutionPro Indeed it was somekind of trophy to show off how many you've killed.

  • This show is heapum goodum. Me likem heapum lottum. Must have costem heapum wampum to makum film. Glad red man brought us low cost tobacco , bingo, and crap games.

  • I may be white. But if could go back in time and they would take me I would gladly fight and die with the Native Americans.

  • It's kinda stupid we praise the military and our presidents when they have been some pretty sick motherfuckers

  • i cant believe that the white man use us native to kill a fellow native

  • @vsbp: If that pisses you off. Do some research on Christopher Columbus and the Spaniards. He is responsible for killing close to 100 million Taino Natives. It is the worst genocide case in history. It is far worse than Hitler and the Jews and African slavery combined. This man along with the Spaniards hunted Natives for sport. They had competions to see whose sword was the sharpest by cutting Natives in half from head to crotch. They fed the Native children to flesh eating dogs. Sick!

  • @Tippy2forU YEA THATS FUCKING TRUE FUCK HERNAN CORTEZ &N PiZZARO & FUCK THE SPANISH My the ARAWAK Warriors rest

  • @Tippy2forU

    BANKERS/ZIONISTS/BLACK NOBILITY

  • it's always so hard for me to watch what the native american indians went through. i'm already angry and crying on just the first 5 minutes of this.

  • @CeaselesslyCurious Those Are My Ancestors. . .

  • @Waynejghost and beautiful people they are

  • @CeaselesslyCurious Yes. Thank You

  • ilovenatives<3

  • All I have to say is right now the world needs one thing. Conservationists. The First Nations lived their whole lives in perfect unison with the world around them and lived as conservationists. We need them now more than ever.

  • Whites killing Indians.

    Indians killing whites

    indians killing indians.

  • @AmericanWarrior1776 Whites killing Indians=Genocide Of the Native Americans.

  • Comment removed

  • I have no problem whatsoever with what the "white man" did. The " white man" makes sure all you niggers have your welfare checks on the first of the month. So stop bitching, Or go back to your lovely poverty and disease ridden shit hole of a country.

  • @JonnyT716 Hey boy, you may call us dirty indians and prairie niggers, but what you can't do is take away our dignity and self pride, if you don't like us indians, then what the hell are you still doing on our land? Contaminating it somemore with your ignorance and racism? Sure you don't like us, ah-hum, SAVAGES, but we're still here...... and there's not a damn thing you can do about it! And when I say this is our land, it is still our land! And If you don't like us, well, go back 2 Europe.

  • @louie10ish The land isn't yours either, friend. It belongs to no one, white or Indian, and your attitude, coupled with the same in the white settlers, is what caused all the misery. When we're all gone, the land will still be here, and the animals won't care who "owns" it.

  • @JonnyT716 I was gobsmacked when I had finished your outrage comment, however, soon afterwards I got back my wits and realised, considering your age (I'm of the same, btw), there might be bloody hope for you to change yourself in years to come. I feel terribly sorry for you 'cause I really question that you'd ever have said that straight to a Native's face, and in case I'm wrong, then I'm not capable of feeling more sorry. Don't think this way in your age, for heaven's sake, or it'll ruin you.

  • to me this movie was so lame - read the book - this is garbage - it is nothing like the book at all - read the book and learn something real - it will touch you in a way this movie could never aproach

  • @SaucyBa11a31 I agree. Dee Brown is awesome.

  • hmm kinda like the book neither wolf nor dog

  • What a great country you are United States of America, for killing children.

  • After what the Federal government did to the Southerners, a people they claimed were their countrymen, can anyone be surprised at what happened to the Indians/natives, a people they did not claim as part of the U.S.?

  • fuckin sherman

  • America doesn't even begin to acknowledge.... or at least admit.

  • @dylanblues1 Oh we do, there's just not a whole lot we can do about it. :/

  • @dylanblues1

    The old hippies remember...

  • America doesn't even begin to acknowledge....

  • this is the greatest shame and genocide in the history of mankind. I pity the people who still speak about races and skin colour, ignorant people. I live in the eastern europe, I am glad I am not a descendant of the ppl who killed native americans.

  • I will be the first to admit that not ALL white people are inherently evil, there have been some that even gave their lives to help and protect those of other races. But when reflecting upon the atrocities and tragedies occurred around the world, I find that white people and Jewish people take the cake. They are guilty of countless acts of destruction and evil and have the nerve to have labeled it "civilization", when they have proved over centuries, just how uncivilized they can truly be.

  • This is so incredibly sad .... honestly I don't know what to say. My one comfort is that none of my ancestors were on the American continent when this happened.

  • @silentobservor And sadly my ancestors had to walk the Trail of Tears.

  • @AubreeIsabelle It is such a tragedy. Sometimes I think it would be wonderful if we could erase history.

  • @AubreeIsabelle Yeah, me too. But what would we have to teach our children with if we didn't have the past to show them what was right and wrong? So in a way if we erase history then we don't know what we have improved or not improved from. And we would also be erasing part of ourselves.

  • What the white man did to the American Indian is one of the greatest injustices ever committed in the history of mankind.

  • @lildwayne21,Sad yes;but if the US hadn't expanded westward, other would have eaten the US alive.

  • @98bigbutt shut yo stupid ass up

  • @RottenPeachState706,how would you want the US act? Like hippies, love everyone and be nice to everyone?

  • @98bigbutt i swear it appears as if you white ppl dont have souls

  • @RottenPeachState706,I'm not white.I'm Hidpsnic.I didn't say that the US treatment of the American Indians was cool, but it had to be done in order for the US to survive and to be taken seriously. It's a dog eat dog world out there.

  • @98bigbutt so the GENOCIDE of almost 90% of a race of ppl is justifiable in your mind to expand a countries regional size? ummmm ok

there is no such thang as "america" as i tell ppl time n time again

  • @98bigbutt the point is it doesn't have to be a dog eat dog world, it was MADE that way. some of the tribes were willing to share the land and make peace but the ones who came here decided not to. and forced them out, raping, killing, and plundering! that's justifiable to you? the US didn't have to survive. both could've lived peacefully if they wanted but america is known for sticking their nose where its not wanted. why do you think we have so many enemies in the world?

  • @YourOasis97,if the US would have acted all hippie like, other countries would have laughed at the US and taken the country down in a second.

  • @98bigbutt no they wouldn't. and what country are you talking about? the indians? this was THEIR land, not the europeans'. obviously u dont get it. its not about being a hippie. violence begets violence. its just COMMON SENSE. war never solves anything, just created more hatred, resentment, bigotry, prejudice. you like living in a world like that? so you dont care if they destroy families, tramautize women and kids, kill others? all for the sake of image and showing whos better? your sad.

  • @YourOasis97,My heart definitely goes out to the American Indians.Of course. But just like everthing else in this world,if you're nice to certain people, they walk all over you.Even though it's a horrible way of thinking,it works.

  • @98bigbutt that's not true. i've been nice to many people and not all of them have walked all over me. thats not always the case with everyone. but using brute force and violence is *not* the only answer either. like i said, some tribes were *willing* to share their land and food. ever heard of the "first thanksgiving" when the indians helped them? and guess how they were repaid, like you said: their lands taken from them, and herding them like cattle into reservations using brute force

  • @YourOasis97,countries are like the world of business.I say this because in the world of business, the dog eat dog world works the same way.

  • @98bigbutt the key is *not* being all hippie like. ever heard of Diplomacy? you know, Talking? negotiations? things get done better doing that than fighting. so your happy with the way how the indians are living now, on reservations? with no jobs, no water, living in poverty, doing drugs and alcohol? all for the sake so the others won't take the U.S. down? i'm glad your not a politician then.

  • @YourOasis97,you're right but some people like the terriorists don't play the play the rules of Diplomacy and wants to take down the big man i.e. the US. because their jealousy.

  • @98bigbutt wow...you still believe that? that's not why their attacking us. and that's not why were at war either.

  • @YourOasis97,the 9/11 attack is the Jews fault for making the US support Israel. If the US is so bad, then why do people from all over the world including the come to America for its opportunities?

  • @98bigbutt were at war cos its how bankers and the billionaires, multimillionaires make their $ by doing military contracts and protecting their resources overseas. america is an empire, a corporation. they dethrone and put in governments in many countries. as they have done in iraq to suit their own ends, as they have done in Latin america. people come here cos they think the american dream exists. and when they arrive, they complain cos they find out it doesn't. i know,my family are immigrants

  • @YourOasis97,I know this country isn't perfect, but the US has to defend itself because other countries because of their jealousy, they want to take the US down.

  • @98bigbutt I see...I suggest you watch a great documentary here on youtube called The War On Democracy...and it's not being caused by "terrorists" either but by our own government as well as a docu called Freedom to Fascism or go to cuttingthroughthematrix (dot) com. I'm not going to even try to convince you, just know this: reality isn't always as it seems. think for yourself.

    Good day and Peace.

  • @YourOasis97,keep on dreaming hippie.

  • @98bigbutt i'm pretty sure your the one still dreaming since you won't even look at it. happy holidays.

  • @98bigbutt boy stop

  • @98bigbutt down with the US natine nations up down with your white power country

  • @tainoculture,go live in Communist China where democracy is being stopped by the Government.

  • @98bigbutt go live in moms ass. but first pull your head out of your ass

  • @tainoculture,first off, don't talk about my mom like that.I didn't talk to your mom like that,so don't talk to my mom like that.Second,if you don't love America then leave it.

  • @98bigbutt first off my land i will stay wre i am Second you leave

  • @tainoculture,I don't agree with the US had done with the Natives but in order for this country to survive and to be taken seriously,it needed to do horrible things in order to not live like a third world nation like Haiti.

  • @98bigbutt IM YOU ARE JUST MAKIN EXCUSES FOR THE MURDER AND GENOCIDE. THE founding fathers SAYD THINGS LIKE '' THE ONLY GOOD INDIAN IS A DEAD INDIAN AND '' THE ONLY THING NIGGERS ARE GOOD FOR IS NOTHING'' FUCK AMERICA

  • @tainoculture,After reading the comment I wrote,I feel like a jackass for writing those stupid comments. I was wrong.

  • @tainoculture,I'm not white.

  • @98bigbutt their attacking us cos we did something to them long ago. decades ago. its common sense: if i hit you, you'll hit me back right? on instinct and to defend yourself. *also we supplied them with weapons in the 80s, the people in afghanistan and trained them. the bin laden family are/were friends with the bush family and both families own/worked with oil companies. coincidence?)

  • @RottenPeachState706 we do have souls. we are still human, sorry

  • Thank's for the whole movie, helps me alot for some homework at school :D

  • I have just finished the book and my tears have stained many pages. It makes me ashamed to be a white European. The white soldiers and settlers who massacred the Native Americans were as bad as the Nazis!!!!! Shame on you America. You did it for greed and material gain and go on doing so to this day.

  • RIP to my departed first nations brothers +sisters. I am white ,and was always treated with respect by native people. They judge you buy content of character, not wealth or titles. They have evil in their community, like any other, but native law towards evil is severe. This movie helps tell their side. A native friend you'st to say ,kiddingly,"Custer died for your sins". He has passed, like many, way too young.

  • oh my god!! thank you sooo much for uploading this!! I need to watch this movie for school...! Once again thank you so so much!!!

  • This just sickens me!!! The Natives didn't deserve all that crap.

  • @PurpleHazeHippie They didn't deserve the benefit of technology, medicine, or education either, but they got it. History happened. No point whining about it. No matter what race you are, if you go back far enough, you will find some point where your ancestors were persecuted.

  • @0manoscar Yes, obviously no one can change the past but still it makes me sad to know stuff like this happened. I was just expressing my feels, I wasn't "whining".

    :)

  • @0manoscar Look we are not whining! We are expressing how we feel about what happened. If you think I have "self pitty" think twice dick head! I'm damn proud of my self!! I have a fucking opinion and I say my opinions. You are what is wrong with this world. Yes, the Natives need to just get over it and live for today but it doesn't mean that they don't deserve techlology, medicine or education. You are obviously missing the point of living. Shut up with the "holiday" crap. Marry Christmas.

  • I get so happy when I see Custer's last stand in this film. Bastard had it coming.

  • I was always curious...was the kid that got shot his friend or brother?

  • is that Colm Feore in the blue coat?

  • IM PROUD OF BEING PART NATIVE AMERICAN ITS A BEAUTIFUL CULTURE!

  • @TheLessThenThreeTV I'm proud to sell liquor to native Americans! It's a wonderful business!!

  • America does not want you to know. But you already do. America enjoys Hitler. A distraction from "her" own genocide. Let the story be told.

  • Adam Beach was a surprise...... but what I really want to know is who did the music?

  • Keep telling that history; read some great military history.

How do you keep a people down? You 'never' let them 'know' their history.

The 7th Cavalry got their butts in a sling again after the Little Big Horn Massacre, fourteen years’ later, the day after the Wounded Knee Massacre. If it wasn't for the 9th Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers, there would of been a second massacre of the 7th Cavalry. Read the novel, and visit website, rescue at pine ridge. com

  • YES!

  • this is the one of the top 10 films of all times... it is a master piece!

  • Does anyone know the proverb at the start in native American ?

  • Does anyone know the proverb at the start in native american?

  • @callumeaty08 it is easy to be brave from a distance.

  • What did the American government do with NATIVE?

    It's awful,horrible!!!

  • "If we ever going to claim what we bough from the French, and whup the Mexicans for is going to meant killing Indians" Mexican-American War. The score was 13,000 dead White soldiers, and 5,000 dead Mexican Soldiers. 100's of Irish USA soldiers and Mexican soldiers team up to stop the USA army from reaching Mexico city. The only reason why you Whites speak of owning our lands is because of a piece of paper signed, but where is this piece of paper.? because it doesn't exist.?

  • @X4SerioX4ese good words brother, yo soy mexicano! and i would be telling you this in dialect, if the nasty spaniards wouldnt have corrupted us!.. native power.

  • @90loneeagle Native power! THAT"S funny! If natives had any power, they would have used it to stop European colonization! Two civilizations met, and the native civilization JUST WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH!!! Deal with it.

  • @X4SerioX4ese Sorry, but almost none of your facts are accurate. There were around 16,000 Mexican troops killed, not 5,000, and that piece of paper you refer to is the Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo, which the government of Mexico signed. It gave all Mexican land north of the Rio Grande River to the U.S. in return for the U.S. not taking the whole country. The treaty was the idea of the Mexican government, not the Americans. We didn't take your land. Your government gave it away.

  • @0manoscar USA invaded Mexico. USA invaded Texas Mexico. USA stole the land from Mexico. The Irish fought in the Mexican side for the right reasons.

  • @X4SerioX4ese The Mexican Government was upset that Santa Ana had given Texas its independence after the battle of San Jacinto, so it failed to recognize that Texas was no longer Mexican territory. The U.S. had annexed Texas AFTER Texas independence, so Texas was not taken from Mexico by the U.S. MEXICO invaded TEXAS, which was now part of the U.S. Hear that? MEXICO invaded the U.S.! Mexico started the war. Mexico lost the war. Mexico gave away its land to end the war.

  • @0manoscar USA killed all the Irish who fought to protect Mexico except for one Irish. The last Irish saw how the last of the Irish soldiers were being slaughter by the USA army.

  • thanks for these videos dude... you are the man.. Thumbs up if u ppl think the same

  • I get so damn angry at Hollywood for beeing incapable of making a movie about the native americans in which they speak their own language.
