I prefer grappling without the gi, it gives your opponent more to grab, and if you gi train all the time then it's different if you get stuck on the street and a guy is on top of you punching like a possesed coke snorting mike tyson in his prime, and here you are stuck with clothing that just rips off him when you pull on it.

for the rest of your videos, id recommend using contrasting gis for the demos, it's hard to see the steps here with black pants on a black gi

Your other leg is stronger then your arm and then you can use both arms to pull his head down

Jerry explains the stuff better than any BJJ guy I've ever seen. But I can barely see with the black uniforms. Still a great video, though.

I agree, Craig. You can't see what's happening with the black uniforms. But Jerry teaches it so well it doesn't hurt the overall quality of the video.
