Make sure to sanitize the rubber part of the insulin with alcohol before you screw it into the pen and if it's a cloudy insulin, don't shake to vigorously (roll in your hands 10 times and invert 10 times).
THose clippers are useless tho, IMO. All it does is create more waste. You have to toss your syringes and pen needles into a Sharps bucket for disposal anyway. I don't know any diabetic that used them.
@SNESguy They are kind of bulky. But they are durable. You can get them free in Canada. Just walk into a pharmacy and ask for one. Don't even need to provide proof you are a diabetic. I have huge collection of these and a bunch of Novolin 4 pens as well. All free.
