  • Make sure to sanitize the rubber part of the insulin with alcohol before you screw it into the pen and if it's a cloudy insulin, don't shake to vigorously (roll in your hands 10 times and invert 10 times).

  • i live in HUngary and i get all of them free( pens, insulins etc.) :D

  • THose clippers are useless tho, IMO. All it does is create more waste. You have to toss your syringes and pen needles into a Sharps bucket for disposal anyway. I don't know any diabetic that used them.

  • @SNESguy They are kind of bulky. But they are durable. You can get them free in Canada. Just walk into a pharmacy and ask for one. Don't even need to provide proof you are a diabetic. I have huge collection of these and a bunch of Novolin 4 pens as well. All free.
