  • something funner go look thu clothes

  • any camera with night vision

  • can the cannon cameras do that

  • transparent to infra-red to hide the light sensors

  • With nightshot and my 1000nm IR FILTER you can even see through clothing (thin, snug fitting, synthetics) during the day. See my vid under video responses. Or see:

How to SEE THROUGH CLOTHES (X-RAY CAM - Before & After)

  • Hey man, why don't you come and stand over there?

  • Cool video, I'm going to try and modify a webcam to do this sometime.

  • what is your camcorder model?

  • the secret is in what the material of the plastic cover around the lens of the camera is made out of and also the angles of sun & artificial lighting in the room

  • whats better, infrared or night vision ?

  • Comment removed

  • how can you make the filter

  • @3201987645321 I didn't make a filter. It was a function of the Sony camcorder - nightshot mode.

  • @thomasclarke hey when was that camera made? the or when did u buy it if u bought it new?

  • @winjamy It was made a while ago.... I bought it new at around 2000/2001.

  • I love the posh dude's accent but dont know what the point of this actually is - I thought it was going to be a camera that could see right through things haha...

  • You seem to freak out

  • 0:35 he nutted

  • Easier as count 1.2.3... the camera that its internals are being show, has a IR transparent cover (the black round stuff that covers the lens and other openings from objective). What is show is just using a camera illuminated by a IR light source, it shows the contents reflected inside that black cover (black for normal light, transparent for IR light).

If it was X-Ray involved in the process by the time of exposure... man! You're in troubles! (Cancer/cell burn)

  • infrared is some kind of the opposite of X-rays.... :P

  • "Opposite" is not the right term.

  • yes, ok, i tried to explain it as easy as possible...

  • Even better if you get a blank film processed (only for the negatives) Cut out a black piece of negative and place that so it totally covers the front objective lens. Then switch on the night shot mode.. The negative will filter out most of the normal light range that we can see and let more of the infrared light that we can't through to the sensor. ;o)

  • i never thought of that....

if i wanted to do this i would develop an unexposed negative or should expose it and then over develop it... or is it over expose and develope... cause i don't think you can over develop film lol...

  • I'm sure if you just bought a cheap film then hand it over to the developer and just ask them to process it blank for the negatives only, it should do the trick of being a visible light filter. You could use multiple layers of negatives to find the sweet spot of the negative filter too.

  • Ya buy the film Process the blaink film tell them not to cut it and use the roll as you need for youre camera ...Its worth It.

  • what the hell are you morons talking about your camera is in night shot looks the freaking same

  • look at circle thing around middle you can see thru it

  • you have no idea what the fuck your talking about

  • nvm

  • I think icewolf is blind.

  • lol i think so too

  • i think your stupid i know what see threw is and your seeing something thats not actually their your letting your fucking stupidity get the best of you the infrared your seeing cant see threw things like that you fucking dumb shit lol god you ppl are so fucking stupid they point out the side of the camera fucking morons god you ppl have poor vision

  • oh and yes im blind and so damn smart that i can see what you fucking morons are talking about and able to type and read what you are typeing lol god your fucking pathetic stupid shit lol

  • it doesn't, you can see through it when they are in the dark, when the room is lit you can see through the black part of the cover when its at an angel

  • most homo vid ever

  • they sound they are from Harry Potter

  • ohh yes, ure soooooo right man !!! LOL :-)

  • What kind of inferred camera r u using????

  • just imagine if a house was built with that material you could peak in

  • not fake; go and find a sky remote. look at the patch of black plastic at the top. can you see through it? no. can the infra red light shine through it? yes. problem solved.

  • Fine fine, use ultra violet light u get the same! i used to see D-link devices logo!

  • twits.

  • fake

it goes out of focus everytime it disapperares

  • Na its not i was using one of those for school work and the night vision is quite powerful it was working in a fully lit room

  • ur a dick head its not fake...try this go home and get a remote control for your tv and get your camera on your fone look at the light on top of your control through the camera whilst pressing buttons on your remote

  • wow learn to spell lol

  • hahahah retards if you know something that is that the cameras have infra red sensors that are hidden under infra red visible plastic so that the rays from the camera sensors can see through

(this plastic is used to protect the sensors and for a better design)

  • sensors? haha i think someones also a bit of a retard....you should know that they are not sensors but infared LEDs....illuminators would be a better word

  • you'd think he just discovered he was a woman by how surprised he was.

  • Yes and it doesn't work!

  • sorry ;[

  • get an ir filter for it and it will work on some clothes

  • @thomasclarke I beg to differ. :-)

  • (that it doesn't work on clothing)

  • @thomasclarke thats where the filter comes in user "3201987645321" mentioned :)

  • christ your an idiot.

  • my god... did no one here take highschool science?!?!?!? The level of stupidity is amasing...

  • Coming from a person who doesn't know how to spell amazing...I think I'll take my chances with the retards who posted this video.

  • OH BURN !! and your emo so nobody trusts what you say.

  • Ehm... Try it on clothes!!! :D

  • Film the front of a remote controll! It also turns see-through!

  • Remote controls and camera light sensors send ir. Thats why this polymer is see through to ir. Otherwise it wouldn't do its job...

  • dis guy sound like villie calo from HIM

  • dude this is so cool!

  • hmm,its nice to see people enjoying discoverys, although i think herchel beat you to it .

  • dude plezzzzz look at a black shirt because i want to see if this can see through clothes

  • I had a go, but it didn't work. I think under the right circumstances, with a really thin cotton shirt, it might just do something, but I haven't got any clothes that worked with it.

  • Very cool. Say, what camera are you using to shoot this video in infra red?

    Rock on!

  • It is an old camera now! It's the Sony Handycam TR728E, which has a "nightshot" mode. There must be equivalents around now, but I don't know what.

  • Excellent. I'm not doing much camera work now, mostly lawsuits against the American government. But thanks I may get one :)

    Rock on!

  • You two aren't very bright now are you?

  • Some organic pigments are black in visible light, but completely transparent for near IR light - Black cover for IR LED of TV remote, or black parts of color negative film.

  • band A IR=700nM-3uM/band B IR=3uM-10uM/band C IR=10uM-100uM/band D IR=100uM-1mm......X ray=5nM-10pM the complete opposite end of the visible band beyond UV,or is the title just missplaced ?

  • The title is misplaced. Completely fair comment, this is not X ray at all. But it gives the impression of being able to see through something, which is cool.

  • in which case i take it as a passing comment due to the fact you can see through the poly cover with the IR light..oh your welcome to comment on any of my videos as you see fit .

  • it cant be "x-ray infrared." those are two completely different forms of light. x-ray light exists past the violet part of the visible spectrum whereas IR exists past the red part of the spectrum.

  • lol they ment night vision with infrared film in front of the lens lloooll

  • No Mamen!!!!!!!!!

  • cool

  • DID YOU SAY STEAK!?!?!?!

  • how?

  • wher can i get a filter?

  • video shows hidden cameras day or night this is regular video cameras and all video camras can see through thick smoke and when you use an infrared filter you can see the flames that no one else can you need the filter.

  • "Oh my god! Oh my God!" hehehehe that was cute

  • u can use this to look throw some types of clothing like light think blacks and grays try it out

  • Ofcourse IR light sees straight through the IR filter from the other direction.

  • congratulation for the exposing

    wow infra

  • So silly, WTF do you think they use in your remote controller to hide the emitter?

  • You can modify ur own video camera, as long as you have the application of infra-red, or just download it, and use night vision on broad daylight at the same time and... voila! x-ray.

  • wow...that's crazy.

  • why are people so impressed polymers and glass that pass near infrared light ? photographers, videographers and many other people including security and military use this type of filter..

  • how do u make dat?

  • nice... i wanna try that
