The cool thing about the original Halloween movie was the fact that it had no BLOOD and you didn't really see anyone get killed. I mean you know they're bein killed, you see scene that insinuate that they're being killed, but not gory scenes like the ones in Friday The 13th. And yet people were still scared and all the gore was in the audience's heads and the beginning of movie was all left to the imagination, like how did he escape, what motivated him to kill as a kid? The remake failed!

he's definitely not one of my favourite Myers' figures, he holds the knife fine but I'm not too keen on the head sculpt and maybe its just me, personally I don't find he doesn't stand well in the stand..hope that helps

I own this figure as well but I decided to leave it in the packaging because I figured it would have poor articulation. The only thing tempting me to open it would be to play around with the different mask/head piece. It's a fun display piece but I think I like him more in the packaging.

pretty much, what do you find is scarier, a kid that has a horrible father figure, a mother that's a stripper and gets picked on in school and then snaps and kills someone? OR a normal kid that everybody thinks has the ideal family, he has parents that are happily married, has a great childhood and then one night for no reason and no motive whatsoever he turns and kills someone in the family, sure the remake told a story of Micheals tragic childhood but do you really want to feel sorry for him?

The movie itself I feel the same way as you.

From the point where michael breaks out till the end was great to me but the begining gave too meny obvious reasons for him to be evil. The only good part of the beginning was when he killed that kid from Spy Kids with a stick LOL

I found the scariest aspect of Michael was that he was like any other kid, normal upbringing and normal folks...and then one night for no reason at all, he snapped and killed his sister, to me that's a hell of a lot creepier than a kid with a poor abusive upbringing because you can justify his turn to evil, if you have too much sympathy for a villain, its hard to be scared of him

How does he scale up to the remake Jason and Leatherface? Do they look good together?

Its tough to say, I found almost that Mezco's Leatherface remake seemed alittle too cartoony in the face, though he had a terrific sculpt in the body. I'm going to do the Jason Voorhees remake figure coming up real soon and that is a nice figure but seems oddly proportioned and I'll explain why when I do the review of him...aside from that they don't look too bad but I find the differences in sculpt styles stand out from each other
