  • "A chosen people, royal priesthood, a holy nation" The book of 1 Peter is of course written to the dispersed Jews. Not to gentiles. He uses that language because he is writing to the jews. Not really helping your argument there Hank.

  • @strattgatt Gen17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a *father of many nations* have I made thee.Gal3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are *of faith*, the *same are* the children of Abraham.3:29 And *if ye be* Christ’s, *then are ye* Abraham’s seed, and *heirs according to the promise*.

    Also, see 1Cor10v1~*4*///remember Eph4v4~6 1spirit 1Lord 1faith 1Body.

Jesus says in John10v16...and there shall be *one fold*, and *one shepherd*.

  • Read Romans 2:28-29 He is not a JEW who is one outwardly, whose circumcision is of the flesh, but He is a JEW who is one inwardly Whose circumcision is of the heart.

Romans 4 - 'All who have faith are of their Father Abraham' (Paraphrased).

OT full of types and symbols, Israel is a Type/Symbol of the Church in the NT.

Conclusion: If you are saved you are a Jew and Israel in the spiritual sense, not physical.

Last Read Matthew 21:33-44 Christ says the kingdom is no longer theirs, forever!

  • AW Pink did start out believing in dispensationalism, however he wound up covenantal after a few years, also my experience. Read his biography by Iain Murray -- it's very interesting -- enjoy!

  • Israel means Israel; not the Watchtower Society and not the church.

  • Romans 11 says Israel is blinded until the time of the gentiles. Does that mean the the church is blinded?

  • @DIVINESOTERIOLOGY I take it to mean physical Israelites. But remember that Paul qualifies in Romans 9 the "not all Israel is Israel", only the ones God chooses. Sometimes Paul goes back and forth with the words "Israel" and "Church", but I don't think so in Romans 11. God bless

  • correction- A W pink is not a dispensationalist but adheres to Covenant Theology

  • I was expecting Hank to say dispensation theology believers are whacked. So thank you Hank for practicing restraint. You even went so far as to say we're not as bad as _______(fill in blank with a belief system you believe damnable).

I do wish he would have stated our true belief, that while God is no respecter of persons He can still implement two separate programs, both adherents saved by faith, when and where differ. His oblique reference to Paul's olive branch analogy suggests this.

  • Hank H. teaches once saved always saved (false) the gifts have passed away (false) the Antichrist was Nero (false) and the gift of speaking in tongues is demonic (blasphemy)! These four deceptions are playing a critical role in the great falling away of believers in these last days.

  • Comment removed

  • @paulbortolazzo I have been listening to Hank for years and he has never, NEVER, NEVER, said that speaking in tongues was demonic. He says it is a gift like any other gift mentioned in scripture, however, one need not have the gift of tongues in order to be saved.

  • @paulbortolazzo The Bible says not to bear false witness (sin!), which is what your post tries to do. Two of the things you mentioned are not essentials to the core of Christian faith, and the other two are flat out lies. So basically you are a liar.

  • Well said Hank!

  • Replacement Theology. Bible answer man fail.

  • @Smetch

"it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham" - Galatians 3:7

"For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise." - Galatians 3:26-29

  • @Smetch You think name calling somehow proves a point? What's the matter, can't come up with anything biblically incorrect in the video, so you have to resort to calling him names? lol.

  • @tonyteb, (con)..The roman jewish war was part of the gap. Sorry. You seem to be confusing me. :P

  • @tonyteb, The gap is the desolations that are determined after the war (the war which happened between the jews and the romans in 66-73). Anyway, you seem to add a gap from christ's crucifixion until AD 70. What do you have to say about that?

  • Those verse are Revelation 20: 7-8

  • cont. Jews believed that God was their Redeemer (Isaiah 43:1-3). A few, like Job, even believed that Jesus was the Redeemer (Job 19:25-26). Faith saved them, the same as faith saves believers. However, God promised Israel they were His chosen nation FOREVER (Gen. 12:1-3; Deut. 4:32-39; 7:6-10; Is. 43:1-3). He can't count the church as "Israel" or he'd be a liar. The church shares, some, but not all, of the promises to Israel. God still blesses His Chosen people.

  • He cites 1 Peter 2:9, when Peter tells dispersed Jewish believers that they are chosen priests, quoted from the OT -- but he is speaking to people grafted in, who have the same promise of salvation for belief. There are promises made to Israelites which are not made to the church (Ezekiel 39:25-48:35; John 14:1-3). Now when the Church is raptured (or Christ comes again to judge) Jewish believers in Christ as Savior and Lord are considered part of the Church (which IS neither Jew nor Greek)

  • There is a difference between being Jewish and being Israel, however the gospel of faith is the same in both instances. Hank Hanegraff cites Romans 11, however he misses the point that Paul is speaking to Gentiles and asking them to not be arrogant about the fact that they were grafted in to the olive tree -- they are a separate group. It is the only way to understand this passage. He states that some OT characters became Jews - they remained other nationalities; they became believers. cont

  • One gospel. For salvation of the Jews and gentiles. Peace in our Lord our God.

    Joh 14:6

  • (cont) The purpose of the Great tribulation is to punish the Jewish and Gentile unbelievers and allow them to have a second chance to choose the real Messiah. Of course, deception and evil will be rampant across the earth during the tribulation. Both God and Satan will be competing for souls in a competition. Most people will follow satan sadly. Yet at the end of the tribulation, God will destroy the wicked, and the martyred believers will experience 1000 years of peace. Satan will be bound.

  • @Nashhinton whwt veres says 1000 years on earth

  • @tonyteb, Umm, I think it's found in Revelation 20: 4-6. I'm assuming you're an amillenialist or postmillenialist. Is that correct?

  • @Nashhinton wrong im neither but idosent say no where on earth does it ? read it again

  • @tonyteb, Read the last verse. Verse 6. Also, what Bible are you reading if I may ask?

  • @Nashhinton it says nothing about the earth i use kjv nasb and i got an niv

  • @tonyteb, "Blessed and holy he who has part in the first resurrection: over these the second death has no power; but they shall be priests of God and of the Christ, and shall reign with him a THOUSAND YEARS"

  • @Nashhinton not on earth

  • @tonyteb"And when the thousand years have been completed, Satan shall be loosed from his prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the EARTH, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war, whose number is as the sand of the sea."

  • @Nashhinton so souls were roaming around the earth a 1000 years

  • @tonyteb, No. There are no demons on the earth during the millenium. Only good angels will be there. Also, people who are believers that die during the millenium will most likely change into an immortal body instantly- In a flash and a twinkling of an eye. Does that make sense to you?

  • @tonyteb, This will all occur after Christ's 2nd coming.

  • @tonyteb, I'm assuming you don't take prophecy literally. Other than that you probably don't read it. Dispensationalism is the LITERAL way to interpret prophecy. Read your Bible. The Holy Ghost will guide you. :)

  • @Nashhinton i take it the sence that it is intended im a partial preterist

  • @Nashhinton i belive we will all be changed but i dont belive in the tribulation in the same way you do

  • @tonyteb, How do you interpret Daniel's seventy "sevens". What do you think the last 7 is?

  • @Nashhinton christ time why is there a gap how do you do that as someone who interpets literal

  • @tonyteb, There is a gap between the crucifixion and the begginning of the tribulation. Listen to the passage:

And after the sixty-two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, and shall have nothing; and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with an overflow, and unto the END OF THE WAR, --DESOLATIONS ARE DETERMINED. This proves that after the destruction of the temple in AD 70, Desolations (wars) are determined. That's a gap

  • @tonyteb, The people of the future prince (antichrist) are the people of the antichrist's nationality. The antichrist is most likely a syrian or a roman.

  • @Nashhinton i only belive what the bible says an antichrist is

  • @tonyteb, An antichrist is a person who denies jesus. But there will be an ultimate antichrist. :)

  • @Nashhinton were does it say there will be an ultimate anti christ as a brother i challenge you to watch that link series i sent you

  • @tonyteb, I think it's in 1 John. Hold on. Let me look for it. Can you give me a second?

  • @tonyteb, "Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that THE Antichrist is coming, even now MANY antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour." (1 john 2:18). This proves that there are MANY antichrist's. BUT THE FINAL ULTIMATE ANTICHRIST WILL COME. Is this proof? :)

  • @Nashhinton i dont think its proof but check your inbox and let me know

  • @tonyteb, I just got blocked by William Tapley-- "third eagle of the apocalypse". I was just having a conversation with him about the similarities between the 12th Imam and the antichrist, and he WENT BESERK! I just thought I might tell you that.

  • @Nashhinton lol he blocked me ages ago

  • @tonyteb, Don't listen to the preterist opinion. Their interpretation is messed up. BAD.

  • @Nashhinton actually as a former futerist the preterist makes the most sence how do you take this generation

  • @tonyteb, The generation could be the church age generation. The last days "generation" began on pentecost and will end at the 2nd coming. It's not a literal generation.

  • @Nashhinton i thought you take things literalyyou seem to put gaps were you need them what about the gospel to be preached to the whole world then the end will come what do you do with that

  • @tonyteb whats up bro so he freaked huh

  • @tonyteb, Yeah he freaked. I never received your message. :P Take care.

  • Israel is God's chosen people. There is a clear distinction between Israel and the church. The whole purpose of the establishment of the church is to bring both Israel and the Gentiles into a new spiritual renewal. The gentiles are grafted into Israel by the help of the church. Jesus is a light to both the Jews and Gentiles. However, God does have a seperate plan for Israel's national spiritual atonement. This atonement will take place after the rapture of the church when Israel will be punished

  • @Nashhinton yea keep dreaming

  • It is interesting. I like to know why the two witnesses measures out the temple and outside the temple wall the Gentiles were to have but the inner court was Israel.

  • @krazyswede11 it means just that
