clean energy, environment, innovation, growth - sounds all nice. but why is in none of those neat e.u. propaganda videos a single word about improving social standards, social security and education for all european citizens including poor/working class people? after all, having excellent social security systems is what set the european countries apart from other, especially poorer world regions. i hope that this will remain so.

I honestly believe it is dispicable that you along with most leaders of this world think that 10W lightbulbs is more pressing than poverty. Europes main job I believe should be about improving the quality of life for all and frankly a few wind turbines a bit of medical research and positive attitude to the environment dont cut it.

Also please stop giving money to local government to spend it on "regeneration" and perhaps more on maintenace - a new look is pointless when its not kept clean.
