  • hehe love it how the temp just drops towards the end!!

  • i got the vst .. must say it's fuckin monster :)

  • sick music

  • Ever thought about looking at the video description in the upper hand corner? You'll find the answer there.

  • That was fun,,, Enjoyed the ride!

  • A bit messy for my taste, but you got more skills than I do. Got me an MS 20 myself, its the finest, funniest, most versatile and well sounding synthesizers Ive owned, and Ive owned the lot. Well done!

  • yes

  • Very nice!

  • ive spent years playing guitar and other instruments and just started to learn piano/keyboard.. gained a massive interest in electro so this stuff facinates me, would love to A. own an ms20 and other bits and bobs, and B. have the 1st clue on how to use it.. And then do Ladytrons Evil on it!

  • synths and key-based instruments dont have anything to do one with another... some synths include a keyboard controller,... adding keyboard as a synth controller was probably the worst step in order to try to turn synths into serious instruments...

  • im aware that synthasis is a completely seperate thing.

  • seperate from playing keys? of course it is... theres nothing in common between programming a modular synth and playing a piano... is like playing drumms and clarinet...

  • @mynmyself

Dude your comment doesn't make sense on so many levels, please justify it.

  • i was saying that people oftenly confuse synths with normal keyboards (or even organs) just because in the 60s moog decided to launch a synth with a keyboard controller... and synths dont necesarrily have nothing to do with keyboards... i personally do a lot of synth-based music and i just use keyboard for solos or leads, the rest is with sequencers, or selfcontrolling modules or ribbon controllers...

  • This is one of the coolest videos on youtube! I wish I had about 2 grand to toss away on an ms-20. People want an arm and a leg for those things.

  • hey don't forget the rib, they want that one too!

  • sweet

  • cool video!!

    .....=D

  • i bet the drum sound is coming from the machine to the right that looks like a dot matrix printer :P call me on it if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure you can run other instruments through the korg

  • Hey, you make my drum computer sad! Its much prettier that those dot matrix printers!

And yes, you can run everything through this thing.

  • haha, ok, it's much prettier than a dot matrix printer, I just saw simian mobile disco last week and they ran a bunch of their equip through the ms-20

  • yup im gonna have to get one of these in real life i think! I use the vst plug in on all my trax. you can only automate so much. I have to have the real thing! this this is so sick! great vid! 5 star!

I like that subtle transition while patching it in the middle there.

  • creaive machine

  • I got one,It's a nasty synth ever!!!!

  • haha nice sound ! cool video

  • can you post a picture of the patch bay? i'd like to know how it is wired. the gating effect is super nice!

  • Totally, the gating effect starting at 0:52 is very cool. What sort of modulation are you tweaking to achieve that? It has a unique rhythmic sound.

  • great video!!!!

  • you turned the ms-10 into a loop machine..how? and where is the drum kits coming from?

  • Drums are coming from Korg KR-55 ;)

  • cool, but the korg kr-55 makes that repeated sound?

  • Great video man ;D

  • nice!

  • Hi

I'm curious; Is it possible to do the same with a MS10?

  • Nope, it doesn't have an ESP (external signal processor).

  • Ah i didn't think you were using the ESP since it sounded so "clean" you know. Because in your other video it sounds typically more like the ESP.

  • second thought, i was kinda quick with that reply..

i DID use the ESP, but only for triggering the VCO's , and for putting the 'clean' drum computer sound through the MS-20.. if your drumcomputer has an trig-out, you can connect it to your MS-10. and the clean sound through the ext signal.

But, the options with triggering, are still much less.

    :)

  • hell, yes, it sounds like a c64 tune

  • Haha, sounds fucking awesome. :D
