Miles 2 close, hope the driver gets charged.... cyclist can b out of order but don't kill but a car/van, this is tons coming down on u.. if drivers cannot understand this they are all Clustermonkeys.
my god ive seen most of ur videos i dnt no who is sadder me for watching them or you for taking the time to stick cameras to your bike and recording on them and then putting them on youtube
I am also a taxi driver and i must say this was very close driving but the problem is you guys take the mickey with the space you use and how you cut red lights and pull infront of us? but you havnt got any of those videos on here why is this?
but be honest you just a frustrated man that couldnt be a cop?
@ryanbarf You'll have to help me out, 'cos I can't see any red light jumping or cutting in front in this video. I can see someone in a metal box doing his best to flatten a cyclist who does nothing wrong though. That would've happened without the camera, but then there wouldn't have been evidence to back up the complaint. That's why cyclists carry cameras, and that's why people complain about them - because they can't get away with dangerous stupidity like this any more.
@TheLabRatt well he is obviously not going to show him cutting red lights and doing other stupid stuff is he???? and i very much doubt the metal box is trying to his best to flatten a cyclist somehow and think that was a bit of a stupid statement
@ryanbarf The stupid statement was you trying to blame the cyclist. Watch the video again - the driver gave the cyclist a choice - get out of the way or be flattened. What do you call that?
Pay attention a bit more when you're out on the road - you'll be surprised. My own observation (while driving) shows that cyclists breaking the rules are no more common, proportionally, than drivers breaking the rules. Big difference being it's harder for cyclists to kill anyone but themselves by doing it.

cycling mikey has been very unfair with his comments as this was not the video viewed as was not accessible at the time. i would also like to point out that there are 2 sides to every story.
@unbiased226 It was accessible at the time which is why I gave you both registration plates. I assumed you were referring to this as well as the other when you dismissed my assertion that they were close and dangerous. There are two sides to every story but a picture tells a thousand words! Anyway, the driver can tell his side to Colchester Borough Council's Licensing Enforcement Team, as this was reported earlier...
@unbiased226 So, are you saying that the close overtake at 0:29 is acceptable even that it's dangerous and very unsafe? All he did was to make a primary position to stop cars like this making an unsafe overtake, but this driver ignores it and makes a very stupid overtake, risking his life all because they want to make as many money as they can. Therefore I agree with what CyclingMIke said.
You could report it to the sheriffs department or to the taxi licensing. Driver will be interviewed and advised not to do it again. Lots of time and bother for you. Well done in keeping a strong line through the danger area. That driver is a donkey!
@CyclingMikey The lady I have just come back from speaking with at PDQ Cars didn't see what the problem was! I will be reporting this to the authority.
I admit that was close!

Far too close and on the zigzag markings of a pedestrian crossing, which makes it even worse.
