Hahaha i use to remember looking backwards on the back sit of the car maybe 6 years ago and amazingly looking how this jets pass through, like 5 years ago they cloesed the road and cleared the mountain where the Jet passes through so that the aproximation maybe more accurate...more safe.

Las montanas han sido trochadas y la pista se ha expandido. No esperes un Antonov-124 aterrizando en TGU. Lo unico malo que tiene el aeropuerto es su approach por las montañas

And by the way, 5 foot cars were never the reason the red light got installed, more like 15 foot trucks and buses.

Excelente video. Lo habia andado buscando desde hace año ya que muy poca gente me cree que en honduras existe un semaforo para vehiculos y aviones.

Un compa qeu viaja por todo el mundo visitando consas raras (como esta) asegura que es el unico semaforo en el mundo para aviones y carros... aunque yo no tengo prueba de ello

Gracias por tu simpático comentario, Lastimosamente :-) ya no existe el semáforo. En 2004 cerraron la calle para ampliar la pista de aterrizaje lo que fué hecho en los años siguientes. Ahora los carros pasan por el periférico. El semáforo para vehiculos y aviones solo quedará en algunas grabaciones como esta y en la memoria de los que lo conocieron. Había algo injusto en ese semáforo : solo se ponía en rojo para los carros, nunca para los aviones !

@markwills77 Me atrevo a contestarte para indicarte que no era el único semáforo para controlar el paso vehicular en una pista. Busca el Aeropuerto de Gibraltar. Notarás que la calle cruza por completo la pista de los aviones. Tengo entendigo que existe también otro semáforo similar en una pequeña pista de un país europeo. Cosas curiosas, no?

Gracias por tu comentario. En 2004 empezaron las obras para alargar la pista : cerraron la calle, construyeron un nuevo tramo de periférico para el tráfico automovil, expropriaron los dueños de los terrenos delante de la pista, tumbaron la colina y recientemente alargaron la pista.
