Wtf! Okay I'm running two kicker comp 12s, a 4.67 cb ft sealed enclosure, and a 1000 watt 2 channel amp running the subs at 2 ohms. Yet mine don't hit worth shit! They sound decent, yet they never hit as hard as the ones in these videos do! I'm wondering if it's the fact that I have a pyramid amp, said at 1000 watts but I don't think so. Plus it's not a monoblock.. Any ideas on what I can do, before I decide it's the subs!,

I just bought those exact kicker subwoofers yesterday double 12" 300 watt) with a 300 watt kicker amp. my mate was telling me it would cause the amp to blow. Is this true?

@iSaLvATiiOn amp to blow? how do subs cause an amp to blow? most amps come with a protection mode so that exact think dosn't happen and to protect your subs from blowing. I have these subs pushed by a 800.2 Boss amp and with around 400 RMS and i have only gone into protection mode like twice. If you act retarded and crank it up all the way yes something is going to blow but its most likely going to be a $10 fuse instead of a $150 amp
