It doesn't work in 1.8, does it? Because when i try to make it the sticky pistons won't hold onto the other sticky pistons because they're already powered.

@MrFlacen yes it does and you have that that problem because you were never able to pull sticky pistons when they are powered because then the infinite block glitch would not of exist, there must be a human error in the making of it

How do you get enough slimballs to make the sticky pistons on single player? I've killed 3 "big" slimes and all I've got to show for it is 2 slimeballs. My plan is to get enough for a hidden wall door.

He for example flattened the land and gave himself pistons and redstone

I think I've pretty much got everything the same as urs except its like 100 blocks high which makes it harder, but me and my mate can't work out what's going wrong caue none of the push blocks are going down and none of the pull blocks are going back up :\

@MilliesAntics It could be that you forgot the 2 hatches, when the elevator pushes down, it pushes on the hatches, which then in turn push down the pistons below it, making them go back down.

Wow, this was *exactly* the way I thought of making an elevator. The reason why mine didn't work was I tried to use reeds for the passenger compartment while testing, which break if pushed by a piston/the block they're on is pushed, and didn't even try doors/trapdoors because I assumed they would break too...

Nice to see the design is sound and would have worked if I had done a little more testing ^_^'

If you type "fly 5" you will fly with the speed set to 5.

you make stairs by putting 6 blocks of either wooden planks or cobblestone in the shape of a staircase on you crafting table... antvenom this is just frigging confusing and impossible for a casual player to understand. please start with an elevator like 2 stories high so we can actually understand. thankyou :)

those trapdoors just make it pretty easy to make i go down

I know doing it without that is just more complicated and takes way more space but the idea is nice :) i should do it without the trapdoors in your custom map thought
