I think all natural substances do this, but in a living organism there are many solutions to this problem. Chemical reactions are constantly going on in cells to restore and keep order. Let's get some things strait.
Christianity is less than 2000 years old, The books of the bible were written years after jesus's death.
Evolution is not religion. It is based on empiracal evidence. Evolution is happening today, and it is real.
And last, no scientist believe that the earth is less than 6000 years old. You just made that up. And I am a scientist.
Listen to some other perspectives other than just your church, and research things before you make bold claims.
