I would have to disagree with mz2005. The show really has changed that much since 2005, not just in the storytelling but even in the minor ways that make Y&R great to watch. The character assassination and total rewrite of history are bad enough, but even the background music is awful these days. That's admittedly a minor change but when people have watched the show for literally decades those small changes are the most glaring ones

Sorry, but B&B will NEVER take over the No.1 spot. That will always belong to Y&R - LML or no LML. I really think some people are exaggerating. The show hasn't changed THAT much since 2005.

I read that Days is sort of improving since Ed Scott took over as EP there. He's also brought along Kathy Foster (ex-Y&R producer), and Noel Maxam (now former Y&R director). B&B will take over the #1 spot one of these days LML changes for Y&R is awful and those who didn't see the show before 2006 just don't know the show.

We're going to have to agree to disagree about LML. I like the show now. But I wouldn't be opposed to Y&R replacing LML either - as long as the new writer isn't worse! B&B has gotten much better lately under Kay Alden - I wish Bell would give her more power! As for DOOL, even on its best day, it's still not as good as Y&R on its worst day IMO, LOL!

Yeah I do! Just you wait. The ratings will crash and LML WILL go! it's just a matter of time. I might even start watching BB and/or DOOL now I hear they're pretty good. Kay Alden is writing for BB and some ex-YR characters are there, and Ed Scott is producing DOOL. (check the email on my hate LML webpage)

Here in the US they don't use the last two anymore; they haven't even shown Kristoff, Judith, or Bryton in the opening since Victoria left. I miss those openings LOL
