  • Now turn the video down to 1/4 speed...

  • it all went very slow when you press ALT+F4 ! wooow

  • more like 2,000 mayb

  • Video skip 5 lol

  • THANK YOU.

  • @tigger2943 FPS = frames per second....

  • hold space bar for ultra slow motion ;)

  • @jrmyrook The ball would come off faster if it was in contact with the face for longer, however, the usga has limiting factors to prevent this

  • @andrelens32 Thank you! I had some asshole go and talk down to me about how you could 'teleport the ball to make it more "effiecent" '. Thank you for your simple answer

  • Can someone explain the physics of this to me? To me it would seem as though the ball gets hit at a speed of (lets say 1) but then it goes off at approximately 2-3 times that speed and only after one very small instant of contact... If the time of contact were extended would more energy from the driver be put into the ball? Or is this really the most efficient way to go about it?

  • @jrmyrook I think it's because some energy is transferred from the club to the ball when it hits, and the ball moves faster because there is less mass for the same amount of energy to move? That's a guess though, I'm not a pro at physics or golf ;)

  • @jrmyrook The ball is elastic. Effectively, it is a spring. A spring stores energy. The ball stores a portion the energy it receives from the club and releases it against the club face as it returns to shape. Because the club is being "played through", travelling in contact with the ball, that release of energy gets ADDED to the energy being gained from the club, during that instant. The ball has less mass/energy than the club which is in motion, so it spring-boosts itself off the club's face.

  • @jrmyrook I'm not sure how, in practical, day to day terms, you can talk of whether that's the most "efficient" way of going about things. That's the way things work on planet Earth. To get something to move in this way, we hit it with something else. Everything about those transactions including contact times have limits that are more to do with the materials involved and the way things work in this Universe and less with the usga - but yes: it might be more "efficient" to teleport the ball.

  • @thebearclawjones JUST STFU!

  • @Felfire90 Wow, a degenerate moron? You are not unique. Sorry.

  • @Felfire90 udumb?

  • Looks like a hook.

  • Amazing quality!

  • oh cool if you look closely at the ball on the point of impact the ball actually changes shape a bit then bounces back
