A steel-framed high-rise is very unlikely to collapse due to any amount of fire. The reason being, the steel structure sinks and dissipates heat. Wherever the fire is, it has to be overwhelmingly intense and efficient, to somehow heat up the surrounding steel to the point of weakening it. You would need a perfect blue flame to obtain such heat. Otherwise, the steel grid naturally sinks out as much heat as it absorbs. Whatever weakened the steel on 9/11, it couldn't have been fire alone.

Also the 10 second estimate is from the top of the towers, not from the collapse zones. You'd imagine that the freefall time from the collapse zones (about the 79th/80th floors in the South tower and about the 93rd floor in the North tower) would be a bit less anyway.

The fire here is so obviously NOT as big the fire before WTC-7s collapse, which was fed by two 6,000 gallon fuel tanks for generators and transformers filled with oil (which may have exploded). The fire at WTC-7 burnt on many floors at the same time and created smoked that masked the entire side of its 47 stories. WTC-7 was also damaged by debris from the Twin Towers. There was, amongst other damage, a gash scooped out of the building from the 18th floor to the ground.
