@bmxguppi 3 reasons:
1. Blocks out light from lens
2. Allows you to put on filters
3. Looks freaking cool! (And as a videographer, will raise your chances on getting more gigs!)

these guys make it possible for indie and no budget film makers like me to achieve some goals where appearances matter...i'm saving up for another of their stabilisers...
