Spark is always constant. Does not need to be timed

@Alexgrosy Did not know that, interesting. Does the compression needed for ignition keep it from knocking and igniting prematurly because the spark alone wont ignite the fuel?

I usually run it on pure gasoline that is used in cars, but it will also run on methanol and even ethanol when it's warm enough!

I won't try it with one of my old engines but I have come across other engine enthusiasts who run them on "miss fuel" from the tanks which garages pump waste fuel when people put the wrong fuel in the car. I saw a man running his bamford on 50% petrol and 50% diesel. It was smokey but it ran. If you can get that great little engine to run on it it's a free source of fuel!

The engine frame is very simple so there are only a few parts that were somewhat difficult to make.
