That's right! I remember the Watson brothers! God bless those wonderful memories! Glad to still here funking along. Happy, healthy, and saved....Singing for Jesus now....Lady Peachena
my uncles played lead in a few songs. Butchie Watson and Harry Watson from west 3rd street where they all practiced. Jam sessions in late summers ..you could hear the music all the way down to Halsey and Grant ave
My friend all from the same family, a branch off the tree, cousins, all the same funk do differnce, Jerome Big Foot Brailey, Gleen Goins The orignal P Funkateers on these cuts, lets keep our facts order :)
Oye Ricardo por que no me hay llamao weón!. Do you know who I am?. Una pista, Ugly Ego from Cameo. MANTRA, MUTINY, OHIO PLAYERS,SUN, FAZE-O, SIDE EFFECT...sigo weón???. Veightengine is may nickname, bro!.
quazar and mutiny they were fonkiest out of the P-FUNK empire. i can smell that fonk from here. peeeeeeeeeyooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah LET ME GROW MY FRO BACK AND GET MY VENUS FLY TRAP NU NILE SLICK BACK AND RED WHITE AND BLUE BASKETBALL AND TOOTH PICK IN MOUTH WITH MY COLLAR FLIP UP AND SCARF
This was a very underated album. When it came out this song got alot of airplay, and the album was off the chain. Thanks for this post. Real funkateers remember this.
Funk-N-Roll (Funkin' In The Sunshine)...man, I haven't this since I had that 45 record in 1978 at age 14!---Thanks so much for posting both sides of this classic unreleased album!
Glen Goins was a major talent taken way to soon and Jerome "Bigfoot" Brailey was and still is a hellacious drummer!!
I used to wear this record out when I was a kid. One of the band members used to be my counselor at the YWCA in Plainfield, NJ. I think he got locked up..but that was my man. Somebody put this on Limewire so I can download.
R.I.P Eugene Moochie Jackson, my friend and one of the greatest pocket bass players that there ever was. He was the man.
