Hi, thanks a lot for making these tutorials :D, in the video you said that there's a bunch of different ways to do the stereo widening you did on the hihats. Could you just mention some of them please? If anyone else knows different techniques for this it would great to if you can share them, please.
@alexponce20 don't know if you still want to know but if you have a sound on one track duplicate the whole track and pan each one hard left and right. Then is the session view of ableton next to the master fader you will see a little D which stands for track delay time if you off set the delay time on each track you will get the same sound. This can also work well on synth sounds, it sounds bad on bass though.
how about a tute on creating the sub, and bass lines that go with minimal tech... as these are way different to the ones in say dubstep or dnb.... they are usually quite simple, but sit so perfectly with the drums... i sometimes have trouble making them all sit together well..
Hey Mike I know you did one on sub bass with corpus but I really like the sub in this example, can you tell us what you used? also can you do something that shows some D-Unity style techniques please.
When you adjust the filter (the graphical part) is the filter applied to the delayed sound for the instrument, or the complete sound for the instrument? Cheers,
@yann27 Operator is an instrument, might only be availible in Suite I don't know. on the left side you can modulate the frequency of four oscillators. choose any preset and modulate the sound by setting the frequency down to a value between 20 and 40 Hz. By using the in-buit EQ you can boost it by using ADSR (Attack Delay Sustain Relay). Always edit the instrument first before you stack hundreds of effects
boring as shit

@minimalista242 He does have a point though. The voice level is a bit high compared to Part 1 (which was good).
And about having to "see" how to use techniques is incorrect. Music is listened to with your ears, not your eyes.

the voice over is too loud or too sharp compered to the music.
Very uncomfortable to listen to.

Great advice at the end that a little bit goes a long way (about using FX)
I see it as spices. Too much spices will sure screw up your meal! But just the right amount will make the dish really come alive :)
