Who said halo takes no skill? Halo is EASILY the most skill based console shooter. With trueskill matchmaking that pairs you up with similarly skilled players and an emphasis on accuracy and movement. Halo is not just some twitch shooter where you can headglitch on a rock and kill 15 people from a single stationary shot. Or get a 5 killstreak that eventually leads you to a 7 killstreak that leads you to an 11 killstreak which you can get upwards of 30 kills with alone. CoD is easymode.

it really depends. cod4's gameplay is really easy to get into for a new person.

I played halo 3 for a long time and found it incredibly fun...as far as being realistic goes, its a game...not supposed to be realistic...cod4 and back are the only good ones...the rest are extremely unbalanced with killstreaks awarding more kills to those who already have quite a few of them...not to mention the weapons, each cod (mw2 and up) has several guns that overpower the rest of them, so they get overused...thus turning the games into an endless cycle of the same gamplay over and over
