  • Good Idea

  • I want to just shout out to the people who might potentially watch this video, there will be a sequel to this jam, just really check out the forums regularly for updates. The forum is s9.zetaboards. com/PKSG/index

The date for the next huge jam (at bishan) will be at 22nd Nov, if things goes according to plan. Just make sure to read the forums.

  • is ok if the training is not offical, i just wanna learn it with proper coaching. ^^

May i know where your trainings are.

  • Check le-parkour. sg forums. Sometimes there are proper training sessions rather than the usual free and easy jam. All jams are posted there.

  • first part is very stupid

  • well you would say that bcos you do not know anything about warming up

  • oh ya,this is to dragonslinger5

  • relax db i think he meant the part where zahid head was film XD

  • waaa sad sia . first part stupid ? too bad lor .

  • How much does cost to join????I like very interested..I live in north area...Seems like a lot of fun...PM me

  • When I attended this training its free. I don't think Ashton charge any fee for it.

  • Chill guys, I was very shocked to see this unnecessary flame wars going on here. Especially in a good video. I know settling things here wouldn't help anyway.

So if both parties agree, I say we all meet up, train together and clear up this misunderstanding.

  • I AGREE! i actually sent you an invitation message but i guess you havent seen it yet. that'd be great! ive wanting to do the national stadium. i just did a short preview run the other day with my girlfriend and its got loads of potential! ill be uploading a short vid of that soon.

  • thats just an option ofcourse, im open for anywhere you think would be good... which area do you stay in? can find something in between...

  • do you hold class, aston?

  • hie

    I am calvin

Was wondering where is your classes

  • Hi Calvin, regarding the class, it is not really "official". Usually newcomers will learn from the more experience traceurs. If you are talking about mass training session or "workshop" like this video, there'll probably be another one soon. Hve you check the official PKSG forum?

  • lol, how many ppl in ur group siah? training vid isit? i like ur may jam video... this one abit boring...

  • This isn't actually my group, it's the Parkour Singapore Community, a collective network of Traceurs in SG. This is more of a training workshop so it was never meant to be exciting, main purpose is to get together and train hard.

And yeah, The May jam is awesome. Peace out bro.

  • look whos talking?

obviously its boring for you, because you guys only go for big stuffs, can't appreciate the very nature of this discipline. also, your video is very exciting, amazing how humans like to kill their knees and make fun of themselves.. and take it as if its 'not boring' as you would call it.

seems like despite all the work to portray a good image of parkour in singapore, its just thanks to people like you who don't fucking know whats parkour, yet claim your video to be one.

  • right. and you are?....

perhaps youd be interested first to know why i reffered to it as boring? NOT because theres nothing big, just because more of the video if focused on the people waining in line than those actually participating, i find it boring as a parkour video but good as a parkour training video. why dont you try reading abit more into things before flaming.

  • and who says we just do big jumps and claim it to be parkour? want a good idea of what we normally do? its similar to the pksg may jam video, we just dont take the camera out for that stuff. we do plenty of low precisions, cats, tic tacs, and other stuff which are all very fluid. if there is something wrong with a traceur doing big stuff then go flame david belle... we hardly do anything "big" compared to him and he is the definition of the sport.

  • LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

exactly, ive said, its boring for you because you guys only go for big stuffs.

you obviously dont have a clue of what you are doing and talking.

    i rest my case.

  • your telling an engineer with an iq of 153 that they dont know what they're talking about? smart.... perhaps you didnt understand those comments, i reccomend you re-read them a few times... esp the first one since that seems to be the one you cant get ur head around.

  • oh, and coming from an engineer. the average relavent surface area of a athletic build person who is 6ft tall is 4900 cm^2 with the average top speed of a person being 9.09m/s and taking in air density at surface and gravity we can calculate that if a person jumps at top speed with no wind from 15 meters (almost 5 floors) and rolls their tragectory will allow the roll to absorb 36% of the impact ant land with only 17 positive Gs it takes 25 to do any damage to the human body. and 50+ to kill

  • wats with all these pointless arguing over the internet?i mean come on,seriously..just accept the fact about what denester1 said about you,i pity you,an ENGINEER,yet you understand NOTHING

  • you only say that because you dont understand some of the MOST BASIC kinematics and fluid dynamics formulas. PITY YOU... now if you too would read the first comment i made in response to denester1 you will realise his initial point was incorrect hence making any further point made by either of you until revised; irrelanant, redundant and incorrect.

  • and im refering to instantaneous G forces so dont come back with some un researched retort like blacking out which requires sustained G forces. anyway thats not the point. the point is read the first comment and youll realise its being boring has nothing to do with it being big or not. its about the video focusing more on thse waiting for their turn than those actually participating at any given moment.

  • anyway why are you giving all the fucked up lame yet-to-be-verified crap? how is that relating to your understanding of parkour? just because you use big numbers and units, you are so smart? omg, seriously, you know whats a joke? look at the mirror.

  • oh, and using numbers etc, which you have a problem with, you know what that is, it is called backing up my claims with scientific evidence. lets see if you can do the same.. until then, you cant rightfully be taken seriously.

  • i'll like to see you jump from lets say, 10metres. if you can live to tell the tale, then you can say all your made-up theoratical shit, and just because you're "engineer" doesn't prove your understanding of what's parkour.judging from your videos you're just yet another poser that 'play' parkour just for fun. why? because people like you take camera phone and film themselves thinking that they are so cool. obviously you won't agree with that but seriously, stop embarassing yourself.

  • First of all: calling proven formulas "made up theoretical shit" is embarassing to yourself.

Second of all: parkour is 100% physics and nothing else. as is engineering. hence it prooves all physical understanding of it. when it comes to mental understanding;unless you are in my head, you are in no place to judge

  • i wonder whats in your head,it could be"big stuff are parkour, yeh!woohoo i wan go parkour here and there"

  • you know what, BOTH of you seemed to have missed what i said earlier so i shall repeat it for you to end this once and for all: WE DONT JUST DO BIG STUFF, WHAT WE NORMALLY DO CAN BE COMPARED TO THE MAY JAM VIDEO, WE JUST DONT VIDEO TAPE IT CAUSE WE ARE BUSY DOING REAL PARKOUR, CATS< KONGS< TIC TACS< PRECISIONS ETC... WE ONLY STOP AND VIDEO TAPE ONCE WE FIND SOMETHING BIG CAUSE ITS INTERESTING. WHICH STILL AINT BIG COMPARED TO DAVID BELLE SO GO FLAME THE INVENTOR OF THE SPORT, NOT ME.

  • firstly, hooray for boosting the comments for this video.

secondly, parkour is 100% physics? do you wanna take those words back? because seriously, people will IQ of 50 will laugh at that.

lastly. since i see no point for internet battles, and since you're so thick-skinned and nothing can enter the thick skull of yours, i'll stop this shit. for people like you obviously you will think i'm at a loss of words. yes, im speechless over your self-proclaimed IQ of 153. ;)

  • Add me and ill send you my test results :)

Exactly why ppl with an iq of 50 would laugh at it: because their iq is 50... feel good comparing yourself to them? parkour is balance, movement, fluidity and timing. THAT IS PHYSICS. the only part of it thats not physics is discipline.

  • i forget to add. the reason that triggered my reaction over your retarded comment is that you just can't appreciate the very nature of the discipline, FUN. the video shows how everyone is having fun, training with each other, chilling out, not doing big stuffs to attract attention or receive unnecessary impacts like your videos, and slacking. there isn't any aim for the video to be entertaining. END OF.

(if you still wanna argue, make sure its related to the above.)

  • fair enough, it will be related to the above. parkour is about fun, it is about helping others too and working together. THERE IS NOT MEANT TO BE COMPETITION IN PARKOUR. the fact that you would openly challenge another traceurs knowledge or ability rather than understanding them first, then discussing and possibly helping each other and working together out is not in parkour's true light.

  • i merely said you do not understand what is parkour. how is that competition?

  • because it is a challenge. you claim i dont understand it when you really dont know that. you made that assumption based on what you were not seeing in a video. rather than asking what else we do.

  • now why dont you try to understand what ive been saying and realise im not trying to challenge you. just defend myself. and then maybe, we can try to get along and put this crap behind us...

  • btw, it was me who gave your last comment thumbs up because i can appreciate what your saying about this video. BUT dont go and flame other people when you dont actually know what they are really doing.

  • ok then. since you gave a proper matured comment, i'll shut up and stop this silly war in the internet.

  • thank you. :) anyway, ill be adding more videos soon and ill be sure to put stuff in them that youll like. and one more thing: yes, big does not mean parkour, but it also doesnt mean its not. anyway, lets leave it at that. enjoy the rest of your day.

  • Lol Man how long did u take to find out on all these calculations just for this reply? Chill out ppl.

  • hey! This is at Fp(Futher park)near my friend house & my house. There is North spring primary school...

  • Looked like a really fun time, I would just say work on getting those movements quieter and its important to incorporate quadrupedal movement into your training(whether it be on ground or railings). Other then that, it was a very enjoyable video. Keep training guys!

  • See it many times and still one of my favorite video in Singapore up to date.

  • Yeah Gabriele really helped alot that day. Hmm... an honor, Cp might have something to say.

  • Didn't actually know the person leading warm up is Ashton... my bad. The Italian traceur really made my day. Good job on editing too. Hope more to come.

  • Hey thanks for the jam, glad that finally someone make it happened. You got no idea how long I waited for this lol. Please tell me there will be more to come.

  • Hey good job mate, good to see you doing well. Nice video, maybe if the scene gets bigger I can do an article on Men's health. Meanwhile, keep it contact!

  • who was the camera-man in the opening shot? that was totally crap! like, it could make the dramatic chipmunk (prairie dog) shit in his pants!

i kid. great to finally be able to use a REAL video camera... too bad CP was too caught up with his ONE POINT NINE KAY camera...... hah.

see you all again when i see you. oh and gabe, it was great meeting you. :D

    (this is nat, btw.)

  • Argh.. saded i didnt make the trip down lol

  • 2 traceuses (female practitioners) actually attended this jam. There are a couple more traceuses in Parkour Singapore, just that they are very low profile...

  • Hey this is soooo cool! Are there any females doing it? I hope I'm not the only girl interested in this. Hope I can join you next time. Ashton looks great as usual.

  • Yea ive gotta say this jam is great lol. yea we nid jams like these, creates awareness of pk & brings traceurs together too. Awesome vid cp! The song fits pretty well, lol.

  • Impressive job... Ashton. I wonder what are you planning...

  • Good enough for me. I koe it probably didn't hit your expectations since the rain mess it up. We need traceurs like you, Ashton.

  • Haha take it easy Gabriele. Anyway I should thank you guys for attending the jam, you are the ones who made this happened. Again if you think there are any improvements free feel to comment it.

Meanwhile I'll scout and plan for future trainings again, and organize quality jams over quantity. We traceurs should unite.

  • Hi guys i'm the ang mo that made you swet.I really enjoied the meeting and i hope to see you soon again.... for unother heavy treining!

  • Woot!Go guys!More to come in the future... :DDD

  • good job guys, i didnt do much stuff in this jam, as was taking video. still good work, keep it up!

  • i hope in the future, more newcomers will come for jams. this is a very motivational jam, as i do see a lot of people cheering for one another. Keep up the good work guys !

  • Yeah!!! Biggest Jam I Ever Had Tnks To Ashton For leading This Jam!

  • thx ashton for organising this. hope to have this kind of jamming again. and hope it doesnt rains.(:

  • yay!

  • Haha i nearly din come for the jam cause it was raining but i am glad i did. thank you to the people who made this happen. Denester, Ashton and that Ang Mo guy. Hope more will come!

  • And special thanks to Ashton for organising and leading the warm up.

  • Yeah I underestimate the clmibing part, manage to nail it the 2nd try though. Your SDC to precision on the ledge is sick. Too bad it doesn't show the height. (The drop is about 2 and a half stories)

  • nice jam we had,the difficult part was the climbing, haha (:
