With all the dongles and accessories you need for the iPad in order for it to be usable, it looks like it's on life support! That's what the iPad is. It's the Sega Genesis/Mega-CD/Sega32X mark 2!
@MacDaddy8909 Yeah I was wrong about that there is also skype you can use, but why the need for facetime then when it can only do wifi?
As for osx I think it make happen eventually one day but for now the computing power really probably isn't there also multitouch with some osx apps maybe an issue, but the future is to figure out that stuff & for tablets to become more than just a glorified version of a large smartphone.
its really what holds me up from getting any apple product is their proprietary nonsense
i would much rather get an asus eee slate as its pretty much a full PC on tablet form, with all the productivity and features u would expect from a full computer
I watched your video. good review. iPad 2 is shit!

I saw the Apple Keynote. And I must say that I didn't like the first iPad.
Lack of camera, only 4:3 resolution etc etc.
If I buy a tablet I would use it to watch movies/tv-series, surf the web, watch Youtube and make videocalls.
Skype now supports videocalls in iOS, even over 3G.
However, the quality is shit. I tested Facetime vs Skype on my iPhone 4.
Dissapointment.
I saw a YT video demonstrating an Android Honeycomb tablet.
And I liked it more than the iPad. :)

You can use the iPad with any WiFi.
You don't have to have a iPhone 4 to tether.
You can use a Android phone that has MiFi (or what you wanna call it).
There are also small MiFi hotshpot devices like the Huawei E5830 or similar.
