a la tombée de la nuit quand on voit une espece d'étoile qui brille c'est la station ISS et les changements de brillance c'est la "voilure" des panneaux qui changent de place j'y ai deja assisté et c'est super
You can see the ISS in the sky, if you want to look at it. The orbital times when it is visible is usually listed by your local time by the geeks that actually know about it, like the "experts" who should be stood up because, the "experts" who know about stuff don't know shit, people with no knowledge of what they're looking at always know better. The ISS is actually an alien spaceship coming to take you away.
You invested billions of dollars building this space station, sow my idea is to recycle the ISS. the first thing you do is you tow it to the moon, and wen you land it you turn it into a hotel or restaurant
There's a mountain of evidence that the Apollo moon missions were faked. I posted a partial summary of it on a science forum. Google "The Naked Scientists". In the "New Theories" section of the forum there's a thread entitled "Did We Land on the Moon?". The summary is on page 15. It's the 7th post from the top.
People who still think they went to the moon simply haven't seen the hoax evidence yet.
I think I just saw this thing this morning. It was seriously astounding. This thing travels at 17,000 mph and it SHOWS. It was amazing, it booked it across all the visible sky in less than 2 minutes.
With all the physiological data we acquired about the harmful effects of long-term flight in zeroG from US & Russian spacestations, there is NO excuse to build another zeroG station like ISS. We should have designed/built a station that rotates. It's time to stop treating astronauts like guinea pigs... and to begin taking care of their long term health.
Actually, several concepts of rotating stations have already been designed (look it up on Wikipedia for fastest reference). The rotating station uses the centripetal force to simulate the artificial gravity. I can assure you, it is not from the movies, it is from not-too-long-term research.
Pessimist? Hoping, that China will not be a superpower is optimistic for US. When their labor cost goes up, we should get our lost jobs back.
As far as NASA budget. If we didn't waste our money on War in Iraq and Afghanistan, we could go back to the Moon and build the base, space catapult and large telescope.
amen brother. The moon deffinetly needs to be our first off world civilization.. There may be nothing of sufficient use as far a resources, but it will certainly give us a much idea of what it takes to settle on other planets.
they also control the exchange rate between dollars and their currency. they own a lot of our debt. the majority of the country is still poor and agrarian. China is like the US was at the turn of the 20th century.

We need to fight this degree of subjugation! Not perpetuate it as a country that alleged democracy is it's number one goal. Where are our priorities?

They didn't invent a simple lightbulb, nor computer and many other things. Even the gunpowder, that is theirs, did not get past a firecracker. Long time ago advanced civilization and now they just play catch up.

Yea , you know I am an amateur space lover and I think its very hard for me and maybe never can go there but these kinds of videos accompany with real discriptions ,like hers', created a new sense about universe for many like me.Thanks again
Aah. Its the link from Anoushehs' blog thats getting all the views on my Soyuz vids ! I liked the blog - its good to get so much detail from the Astronaut's point of view.
The first half was the best, with the Earth in the background. I caught a glimpse of Atlantis' path on the control room screen - it was a pretty good circle.
Yeah, we hadn't left yet. The shuttle was just coming over the top of the station as we had to leave. I caught some of the replay thru Flight Day Highlights.
My pleasure. This was an experiment in using video editing tools. I've been following the mission live on NASA TV. Fingers crossed for tomorrow's landing.

Dear All,
I have some question about psychology:
(1) Why do we want to travel to space?
(2) What motivate us to design and to build the International Space Station (ISS)?
(3) Why do want to live in space?
(4) What are the social values represented by International Space Satation (ISS)?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

yea i think it was only visible in a select swath of cities, luckily for me detroit was one of them, so cool when you catch the ISS, its like wow, why is that star racing accross the sky (terrible light pollution here), but las tnight was especially cool, with atlantis an the ISS moving in tandem, wish i had a tracking scope...

Nice to see the cloud formation, and how extremely machinelike and sturdy the camera travels. An almost sacral and meditative study :)

For most of the time the camera was fixed and the attitude was controlled by the thrusters on Atlantis :)

Very nice, Bruno -- this will be sure to make Anousheh space-homesick
and thanks for capturing the Soyuz TMA-8 Expedition 13/Ansari re-entry -- pretty hot vacation video!

We were headed out the door to go to church when the shuttle was doing this. Saw the first part of it, but missed most of the latter part.

The first half was the best, with the Earth in the background. I caught a glimpse of Atlantis' path on the control room screen - it was a pretty good circle.
BrunoTheQuestionable 5 years ago
Yeah, we hadn't left yet. The shuttle was just coming over the top of the station as we had to leave. I caught some of the replay thru Flight Day Highlights.

My pleasure. This was an experiment in using video editing tools. I've been following the mission live on NASA TV. Fingers crossed for tomorrow's landing.
