  • during use, would the car have to be running ? (as charging car batt) and if not, then how long would it last before the car batt was flat

    well that depends on the car. it will work whenever it gets power, so if the plugs stay on when the engine is off, yes it will work.. then it just depends how large a battery you have

    but hours at least I'd bet

  • I had a 100 Watt single plug one for my laptop. Worked ok for a few hours but ended up blowing the car's fuse (not the one in the inverter). I would think the 200W one blow my fuse right away. Probably different car to car though.

    Anyone know how many Amps that inverter would draw? I think Watts = Amps x Volts. But would you use 12 or 120 for the voltage? (I would guess the 120 but 1.6 amps doesn't seem like enough)
