I loved Freddy's Dead. Really, I love his humor in it. But I also love NMOES1 because it's just original. Nothing ever was like it and nothing will ever be. Freddy is just evil, with that black fucking humor in the last parts? He's fucking torturing his victims >:D

You know as early effects go it isn't bad and the skeleton was at least better than the ones in Jason and the Argonauts! Plus it was written and directed by the maker of the series Wes Craven! The only thing that didn't make sense was that Freddy didn't really finish the job. ANd I've seen FAR worse than this. Look at Troll 2, Shark Attack 3 Megalodon, Manos the Hands of Fate, or Friday the 13th parts 9 and Jason X (the only two Fridays I don't own and don't want to own).

What?! Freddy's Dead was a joke! Seriously! In number one, Freddy was a bad-ass, hard-core killer, and by number six he was dressing up as the wicked witch of the west, playing video games with people, making some of the worst jokes imaginable, and scratching his fingernails on a chalkboard instead of a metal pole!

The old scary Freddy was great, but with the exception of number 5, and 4 was kinda shit too, the funny Freddy was cool, but I do look forward to the Freddy revamp in the making, nice to see him badass again it'll be.
