Pictures don't always corroborate the truth. Example, a dishonest landlord could take pictures of the property when it is in a decent condition, and use them against a different tenant at a much later date (maybe years later!) if they want to. Maybe tenants should bear that in mind when they can't be bothered to take pictures or video everything at the start of the tenancy. Dear Lord, what has the world come to?!

@3axim hear hear! ...they complain that some people don't speak English, then when they learn they make fun of every nuance in grammar or accent along the way. It's a process, as in, it's an ongoing, conscious effort that takes YEARS of discipline.

It's highly unlikely that anyone making fun of her here has ever gone through the process of learning a new language ...and I'd put money down that they never tried that new language out in a country full of native speakers.

@krumbleton I lived in Spain four years and learned Castillian Spanish. I did not insist everyone there speak to me in English. I just saw a YT video of a person who moved to the US in 1988, yet INSISTED he be allowed to give testimony before a government hearing in his 'native' Mexican tongue. The congressman interrupted to ask why he wouldn't give testimony in English, and he caught all manner of hell and criticism from the MSM. We live in America, and we should learn its history AND language.

@skaggsey Germanic languages like English, are easy to learn for people who speak a Germanic language vs a Latin based one. It just feels wrong to them. How the subject, verbs,object order, combined with the incorporation of Latin words into English that do always have the same meaning in Spanish is confusing. Then if you add the age of learning a new language in, a kid under 12 learns to pronounce better than a person over 35. She might be doing darn good for all we know.
