@myleftnutts Personally, I do prefer the sound of a Rhodes, but I'd rather gig with a convincing digital imitation than haul around a 100+ pound beast, even if it's the most wonderful beast to grace this planet. I'd rather be just short of the perfect sonic vitality that a Rhodes brings than short of a working spine.

@Seishinbunretsusho what i did about this problem i bought a piano bass, rhodes, then found a rhodes at that time stripped out two octives velow middle c and half above middle c and i was good. i ended up playing on a 49 note piano bass rhodes because ray charles had his tech set him up with half a stage piano half piano bass. pretty much what i did

wurlitzers are like crack, their everywhere, this keyboard is hard as hell to find, id pay 5 grand for this. On the 1st song of this promo,did he(billy joel) use this same set-up on "just the way you are"?
